    Default Cosmetic Races

If your keen on the look of a particular race or your toons name suites a race.

For example a toon that is Aasimar but is cosmetically a Half Orc.

I mean... Each race has its drawbacks and benefits based on their sizes too. For example, many throwers player halflings or gnomes because of where the shuriken goes. The shuriken has a lower line so it hits more things lower to the ground. Smaller races also have smaller hitboxes, bigger races have a bigger attack radius with melee. I dont think there is a way to implement what you are suggesting without it looking funky

sorry but it makes no sense for me, i mean, cosmetics are just something u put over your current thing so... would you be selling skins? or "brand new race that has the aasimar tree but it has the horc looks"? i doubt WOTC would allow them to create new races

however they could sell "drizzt skin" and like other cosmetics should be usable only on certain races (in that case would be... drow?) same way that 2hf cosmetics can only be used on 2hf weapons, like in current cosmetics it would have no effect in game (like bludgeon weapon with slashing cosmetic will keep ignoring dr/bludg on skeles)

i see it like a combination of characteristics u can or can't select at character creation but u have predetermined there to give that appealing (so if you have that armor you can put it, so not every drizz cosmetic makes ppl wear the same gear xD)
psykopeta is finally baconpletionist because there isn't anything to delay it more - thelanis, where the gimps claim to be pros and noobs claim to be pros, no newbies allowed(unless they claim to be pros), we have enough drama w/o them. PS: I post only in the latest thread shown in main page, in the weird case u want something from me, feel free to send pm

This has been requested many times and would make a fantastic addition to the game. I do not recall a developer ever commenting on the suggestion. Perhaps someone could bring it up during one of Cordovan's Live Streams.

I didn't think about size differences, maybe you go by your actual size. Mobs could see through the cosmetic. That might make the graphics a bit funky with a cosmetic halfling being hit by something going over its head.

I thought you would do it with a Mirror of Glamering. Have another Cosmetic slot called Race. Drop the mirror in there. If the mirror hasn't been used before it would become your current race and appearance. If the mirror had been used you would be able to switch to the cosmetic race.

Changing a race you might need to setup the appearance like in character creation. This could be done once or have a way of doing it at any time. I'm not sure what would happen if you moved it from a female toon to a male toon. Maybe the mirror would have a default or random appearance for the opposite sex. Which could be changed. Each mirror might need to have a male and female appearance saved on it.

Either that or the mirror is set to your race, appearance and sex. This would be a lot less work for developers and probably the way to go.

This would be good for toons that you would like to keep the same appearance no matter what race.

I know I made one or two Bladeforged with a male name and female body by mistake, hard to tell them apart. If the sex was switched, hopefully the cosmetic races male/female voice would used

Not a fan of this idea. But, it also wouldn't affect my game day at all since I just wouldn't use it - and I really don't care if another person buys a cosmetic to make their game day more enjoyable.
