    Hi!

I've never had this problem so i hope you can help me..

I have installed DDO in C:\Apps\DDOnline and this i have always done. But now i have new pc and after installing DDO as usual the following happens..

    - No folder in dokuments are created.
    - The UserPrefrence.ini is put in C:\Windows folder
    - Screenshot or ui layout file are put in C:\Apps\DDOnline folder
    - Every time i start DDO it start as if it's the first time i do so and then when i logout the UserPref.. file in C:\Windows is updated but not used..

Windows 10 is the lastest and this it was before i got my new pc.

not sure how to solve your problem.
I have Windows 10 and I have copied my DDO installation from another computer to some custom folder (C:\temp\DDO)
My user data gets created under C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Dungeons and Dragons Online.
Maybe try moving the ini file to that location? Dunno.

I have the same issue, kinda. My ini file is stuck at a certain version, so if I want to log into my newer alt account I have to accept TOS and stuff each log in. I'm not sure when this happened, but it wasn't due to install/reinstall of game for me.

My DDO settings things are in documents/Dungeons and Dragons Online, like normal. The folder and files in it are write-protected, and nothing I do seems to make them writeable. Sure, I can click it off, but it doesn't stick.
I tried to look for solutions online for it, but had no luck and gave up in the end.
DDO: If a problem cannot be solved by the application of DPS, you're not applying enough.
