What build is this?

Hello. So yesterday i was playing r1 ravenlofts and a pure sorc joins us. I examined him because he was wearing a bow so i was curious why that was. He is a sun elf, and was using flaming arrows and fire elemental form. He wrecked r1 RL and he didnt even use the bow i think. Does anyone know what the heck this build is?

I mean... Sorcerers are pretty powerful right now. Need a little bit more information to give any form of an answer though lol... Was he a pure sorcerer? Was he casting spells? What kind of a bow was he using, because if it was a crossbow then I know exactly whats going on lol.

I said he was pure i think. He was only casting spells from fire savant. The bow looked like chaosbow but now with cosmetics you cant know for sure.

Well that explains it. Hes using chaosbow because he still gets the vulnerability from it. Every spell he casts gives enemies vulnerability stacks. He probably just doesnt have a better way to get vulnerability stacks, and he has his spellpower elsewhere

Ideally, every character should have a way to get vulnerability stacks at end game

Barely any do, in fact i think vulnerability is the only one. Would need someone else to confirm anymore that apply. Maybe you could start another thread for that lol.

Could also be an EK arcane archer. Sun Elf allows you to unlock arcane archer in the racial tree. The AA elemental arrows and the EK spellsword damage stack both apply to arrows and I think both stack.

EK is wizard tree isnt it? Anyways, i said they dont use bow just hold it. So i guess the build is just a sorc but i wonder why even go for arcane archer if he just holds the bow?

EK is in both Wizard & Sorcerer trees.

Every sorc I've seen carries a crossbow so all of this is just theory


11 Racial AP+2 tome for 93 total AP
41 AP in Fire Savant for elemental form
14 in Morninglord to open up AA
38 left
Elemental Arrows give universal spellpower, as do Soul Magic and Moonbow depending on how deep into AA. Could be grabbing Terror/Banish/Para/Smiting for the Enchantment DCs for Holds/Charms.
Might be 21 AP in EK for 30 USP and 13 in AA for 25 USP and the other 4 in Fire/EK/AA/Earth/Air/Racial/only has 9 racial AP.
Or 26 in AA and 11 in EK trading 5 USP for 3 Enchantment DC

The bow can be used as a mana generator as well.

Did he have a bird? I have a feeling it was to have bird aoes spreading out some "free" helpless states before the nukes .
