    Default Killing Time LoB: Dance of Death bug

    My group was running Killing Time on LN last night. We were doing well up until the very end. After he got to ~20% HP, the lord of Blades decided to do his spin-and-zoom attack, but never stopped. As a result, he zoomed around the area, killing us all. Attempts to jibber and salvage the situation ended with him immediate zooming over to the newly revived person and one-shotting them.

    Bug report has been filed (ticket #79448), but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this. Of note is that we didn't handle the hound agro very well. Might that of been a contributing factor?

    That's not lag, it's just DDO trying to become turn-based again.

    Never seen that before happen personally.

    It looks like he got into the animation, but the script to stop the animation was skipped over, or was unable to complete and tell him to stop. So... lag?

    Either that, or someone used an ability that interacted with him as he was ending their spin animation, knocking him (again) out of the script that tells him to stop. Was there any Falcon users in that run?

    Had this once, the stage was complete, He got up again, did a few more spins, killed the melees, then quest immediately completed .

    I haven't seen this with Lord of Blades, but I have seen the same type of thing happen with the end boss in Death House. The end boss mound was stuck in his "I've got my hands in the ground and doing my AoE" continuously from ~80% health until he was dead, even after multiple party wipes (I think we were on R8, so that AoE plus the needle blights were chewing our tank and melee DPS up quick).

    Not sure if it's because we all died before the AoE completed, or if we all died because the AoE wouldn't complete.

    I'm a falconer and was continually tagging him with falcon attacks. Those cause single-hit damage, and applies stacks of a DoT. Is there some semi-known issue where applying a de-buff like a DoT can interrupt exiting of an attack animation?
