I don't think it does unless description states it benefits from it.

Like some skills have in description that it benefits from X% certain power.

Although there is something that interests me on sentience procs:
Blood Feast proc triggers only when player uses rage skill (barb for example) or on other rage activations (from items, clickies, pots) and procs that have similar effect to rage (madstone rage, cannith combat infusion, etc)

It doesn't work when you use rage potions or Primal Scream (which is good). I think it only works with actual barb rage. It may work with Madstone rage, but I doubt it... I can check that later.

Does not work with Madstone rage either. Can someone check bard (skaldic) rage? The rage from the Barb past-life would be interesting to check as well.
