    Default Bag for Cosmetic Items

I would love to have a bag to store all cosmetic items. After playing for so many years, you accumulate quite a number of cosmetics that take up valuable inventory space. A bag to store them is worth buying with TPs!

This is something people have been calling for for a long time. Counting the cosmetics from Iconic characters, I have well over 100 different cosmetics filling my banks.

    something yes--it has been suggested.

But a BAG...Can we not come up with something more...glamorous? Like a 'portable portmanteau'?

They've said a few times it can't be done without a total rework of either the way cosmetics work or the way containers work. So, I'd pin this one on the Unlikely board.
Although I'd now love to have anything called a 'portable portmanteau'.

Why would anyone store a Cosmetic Item from an Iconic Character? To use such an item you must be a specific Iconic Character, but if you are a specific Iconic Character you just received another free copy of the associated Iconic Cosmetic Item. Even glamering does not prevent the Iconic Character limitation. I am genuinely curious.

I've never gotten another copy of the iconic armor's except for my first life as that iconic.

Wow. Huh. I have completed... *thinks* ...12 Iconic go rounds and never noticed that. However, I destroy all the Starter Equipment so fast I probably would not have noticed if the Cosmetic was there or not. Now I want to know why the Iconic Cosmetic Armor is not always generated. Hmmm...

It doesn't have to be a bag, It could be a wardrobe tab in the shared bank area. Just like they added a crafting tab to it, they could add a wardrobe tab to it, simple as that... it would act just like a normal shared bank, but be limited to only cosmetic items. Simple... The devs just don't care apparently lol

Even that is more complicated than it need be. A Shared Bank "Wardrobe" tab need only search for and display Cosmetic Items. Such a system requires no limitations on what goes where. Or, add the ability to search for "Cosmetic" in the Shared Storage Search Box and have it actually work.

Anyway, they solved all these problems in The Lord of the Rings Online. The storage systems in that game work great. For whatever reason, they will not implement those solutions in DDO. It is extremely frustrating.

Also, this game would greatly benefit from a 'Recover' function that would return things like the Iconic Character Cosmetic Items. Yet again, they solved a problem in The Lord of the Rings Online and will not implement that solution here.
