Out of my 18 playing toons most are high level for reaper and raiding. Hope they didn't pick up favor! Sad to lose all those bonues till a new race or class come out where they need to tr but that is not enough to tr every toon leaving me no raiding or reaping toons. Especially since thing like sentient and more and more raid are being added leading you to believe they want you to play more high level content and not be in a state of constant tr.

You can always do one of those characters while the others sit at cap. I'm not saying that you should have to do that, but it's at least an option since you have alts.

I've completely given up on having alts since Reaper XP is such a long process to accumulate compared to "regular" heroic/epic XP.

New Patron rewards will apply when talking to the patron to get that tiers rewards.

Unfortunately, this means that for bonuses added to reward tiers that already existed pre-patch which you have already bypassed and turned in during your current life there is not a way to obtain them until TR.

It's awesome that additional favor rewards were implemented. It's terrible they way it was done. If you have already taken your rewards, your done? There must be a way to have the patron check current favor vs current rewards. Max level characters are just out of luck unless you TR. Not cool at all.

Thx team developpers!!! Awesome job you did on that update. I often read complaints on forum about ddo, but you really are listening to it and trying to do your best to make the game better. I really appreciate and many amongst us do too. Keep on the good work.

What an extremely unexpected and pleasant surprise, though I did find a hint about favour rewards on a wiki page just before the main update, but the rest is above and beyond. Certainly it is good to see that the TR issue has been taken seriously, from responses give in others threads I was starting to lose confidence in the direction and manner SSG seemed to be viewing the player base.
I can now sense the fear of moths in my wallet and they scuttle about trying to find their sunglasses

Why bad? Create a new character, get his cosmetics, leave them in the shared bank, and destroy the character. Ready, you already have the cosmetics for your current characters. bta cosmetics is a great change

Although I wonder why they do not convert in bta also the cosmetic of the anniversary of last year. No cosmetic should be btc

In general, the changes of this update are good, but I'm not happy with non-retroactive rewards either. The state of the alts does not currently make it attractive to have to reincarnate the entire stable of alts. Really devs need to do something with the insane grind that currently exists and the power gap.

With the stupid level of grind that currently exists, reincarnating all the alts is equally stupid. It is best to focus on one or two characters and leave the others in the cap as a spare for when your main is not available.

Devs have created this problem by devaluing the alts. Of course, people are not happy with having to reincarnate alts or having to renounce the rewards of a favor they have already obtained.

Yes, better recordkeeping. I'm cautiously optimistic that the other work we did will mean that it won't be needed.

Yes, the list becomes out of date, but it's more of a breadcrumb. By having some of the unique ID's of the items in the logs, we can cross-reference them with orphaned items we find in the database, and then un-orphan the lost items. What's in the database is the authoritative source, the logging is an additional tool.

I hope you are right that the logging won't be needed. It is good to see that SSG is hopefully, finally devoting some real attention to tracking down the TR bugs and fixing them. Thank you for that.

However, all the logging in the world does not help much if it still takes players weeks of auto-closed tickets and making posts here on the forums pleading for a dev to look into their ticket to actually get help.

Can you provide an official, SSG-sanctioned process or channel of communication for victims of this bug to get help in a timely manner?

Yes and no. If you've already gotten your favor rewards on a character then unfortunately you're SOL on getting them the new ones. According to devs you must TR (Heroic/Racial not Lesser/Epic) to collect the new favor rewards. Sucks for me! I just final-TR'd my last two mains last month.

I have not rolled a new character in... when did Mikarddo make the Ladder competition? Too much grinding for PLs and Reaper points to support alts.

I was under the impression that the cosmetics were part of the "first character to open gets this" bundle, not that it was available to all characters on an account. I have been wrong in the past, and will be wrong again in the future.

If I have my facts straight...……..

Tier 4 (Falconry Tree) of Free Agent favour is achieved at 700 (not seeing anything in the release notes about a change to that number)

There is only 720 free agent favour available.

That includes 48 from Titan Awakes and Twilight Forge.

At least until they release Sharn expansion with quests that I assume will add to Free Agent favour.

One other question - are we safe to assume that unlocking the Falconry Tree will persist through TR? Account wide or per character?

I'm not really convinced of that. There are already tons of reasons to TR. If you have good reasons you don't want to TR, you already have ignored all the reasons to TR. But I know people that this could be something that makes them quit, or at least more bitter than they already are. And anyone willing to pay for something that is free is already the type of person that TRs anyway. But those who paid for packs and now don't get the rewards from those packs because they don't TR are going to be upset.

Granted, that's going to be the minority the way this game has headed, and this isn't exactly against expectations (not because it's a welcome expectation, but it isn't exactly a surprise).
