There are some good changes in this patch. But I really think you need to do the extra work so that characters who have already taken favour rewards can get the updated ones without reincarnating.
The way you've done this is very unfriendly to people who do not like reincarnating and/or run a number of alts. It's particularly on the nose in an environment where there may still be serious bugs with the reincarnation process and your customer service helping people with that problem is, not to put too fine a point on it, beyond terrible.
The other problem is some of the comments in this thread seem to indicate certain of the new rewards aren't being granted properly. Which begs the question, what happens to those people who reincarnated and didn't get the new rewards properly post patch? Will these people need to reincarnate twice to get these new rewards, assuming those problems are fixed in a later patch?
Just for once, try taking a customer-first approach with these changes rather than doing what is easiest and most profitable for yourselves. The way you have done this puts a cost onto your customers which we shouldn't have to bear.
You already saw the community wasn't happy with changes like this from the feedback during the implementation of cleric domains, so doing the same thing all over again with favour shows a real inability to digest feedback and lack of concern for your players.
Thanks.
