EK BF build Questions

OK so I have been runnining this build and its wicked. I love this. However, I found myself doing better damage with a shield and taking the proficiency within the EK Enhancements which leads me to a question. Is there a way I can get the shield line and shield bashing to take advantage of the dmg from shields?


What would I be losing if I took 3 levels of fighter to try and get the shield stuff?

Well, with 3 levels of wizard, you get @3.5x spell power in damage, at 6 7x spell power, 9 10.5x, 12 is 18x, 15 is 22.5x, 18 is 33x, and 20 gives you 45.5x
So your on hit damage from spellsword scales pretty fast with wizard levels.
When I ran EK, I did 20 wizard and just used THF. That worked really well. THF is fairly forgiving of not having many feats and having a low BAB. If I were doing epics instead of just heroic lives, I'd consider doing SWF and orb instead, or perhaps even going 3 bard and swashbuckling.
