Default Viability of a Bladeforged Cleric?

Wondering if this is counter intuitive or not, and if anyone has a significantly 'tankish' build for one. I am not looking for this build to go 'toe 2 toe', but will largely be healing and anti-undead/CC, while wielding the 2 RL sceptres. I'm interested in Bladeforged for the racial reconstruction in tier 2, but there's actually lots of good stuff in there.

Problem is, I have ZERO experience with playing a cleric.. so advise appreciated. Thanks

I'm a long time cleric player. I'm currently doing my racial past lives for Warforged so similar but not exactly.

Now there are differences between Warforged and Bladeforged but you still have the "Healer's Friend" enhancement line which helps. Keeping in mind that once you get Heal you will likely not see significant loss in healing power.

The advantage of the bladefoged is the "Communion of Scribing" enhancement as this can give you a heal with a bit of a speed boost.

It is viable, just keep in mind you will struggle a bit at the beginning, a little UMD can help minimize this by granting access to the repair type spells and a few damage reduction buffs.

What I recommend is spend time reviewing the Cleric Domains and pick one that synergizes with the goal of your build.

Also, use your crowd control spells to also reduce incoming damage - Sound Burst and Greater Command are great ways to stop large groups. Hold Person and command are good ways to stop spell appropriate individual mobs.

It's viable though a little redundant since you already have awesome self healing just from communion. You'd probably focus more on buffs and cc, and weapon damage - probably with falcon for wis as your universal stat, and war domain

With three paladin past lives, a mysterious cloak, legendary healing hands of house jorasco and legendary bracers of order and chaos, you can get your amp up so high that you won’t even notice the difference. So yes, it’s viable.
