Greetings, all! We've been hard at work making our next expansion as fun as possible - and we want your help! Each week, starting right now, vote in a poll to help us choose the details of an item in Sharn. The winning option of each poll will change further decisions, and the end result will be able to be found inside the Sharn Expansion upon its release. Without further ado, we want to know - Goggles, Bracers, or Belt?

This is a single item. The poll options will start relatively simply - narrowing down a slot and a broad theme before getting into specifics. At the end of it all, we'll end up with one item to be released in Sharn, designed by the DDO community

agreed, with no additional spellpower of that type planned (per dev response previously), the ravenloft belts are fixed unreplaceable items on dps caster builds.

I don't understand the point of choosing a slot when you don't know what the item properties are?

Goggles and Belt are not good choices for the poll as several Ravenloft sets and gear with extra spell power take up those slots. Bracers are the safest upgrade option as the developer has officially stated that there will only be 1 item added for Sharn. We will be stuck with Ravenloft gear for some time to come due to this statement by the developer.

One item per server. You're going to need to schedule a rotation. I'd recommend some sort of shared calendar.

Having to manual organize a schedule sounds like too much work. Couldn't we just have it suddenly disappear from the current owner's inventory (or equipment slot) when the next person loots it? Maybe it could have a aniversary-coffee-type clickie on it that has a regen timer equal to the effect duration to make the loss more impactful.

I'm sad you had to post this, but it's probably necessary.

I like the Voltron idea posted in this thread as well. Voltron fits perfectly into Eberron too. Like perfectly. Don't call it Voltron though because yeah. It can be some different animal that is definitely not a lion.


Also glad to see goggles take the lead. Gotta be goggles.
