Utterdark Blast: Eldritch Essence Stance: Your Eldritch Blast base damage is now Evil instead of Force.
(Evil Damage from spells is usually boosted by alignment-based Spell power, and normally deals full damage to enemies regardless of enemy alignment, though particular enemies may have special defenses.

I do see a lot of builds where they take this enhancement but I have two questions.

1. Since you can get impulse and force lore damage enhancement and I am not aware of the same for evil ... does it make sense to take this enhancement?
2. Does the force lore and impulse items provide any value if you take this enhancement? IE: Do they increase the damage that then gets applied as evil damage?

Evil damage uses the same spellpower and lore as light damage, so you equip radiance and radiance lore to increase the damage and spell crit chance.
The nice thing about Utterdark is that it synergises well with Consume and Stricken (which deal chaotic damage, and also use radiance), and with the Enlightened Spirit tree which adds a bunch of light damage to your blasts.

Evil damage is boosted by Radiance effects. So it works quite well if your dipping deep into the ES tree as well.
