As far as I know, DDO is the most D&D related game mechanically and by world means, even if it misses some elements of it. What I am asking here though is that in 5th edition, not so long ago, the Channeler class came out. And I am interested in wheter will it be implemented in the game or not? Just a question that needs to be answered.

It's a "divine" warlock. Sounds very similar to a Favoured Soul in theme, so you could play that, or an Enlighted Spirit Warlock.
