    Question Recover old forum account?

    Hi,

Returning old player. I was forced to create a new forum account, I have my original 'Turbine' account, and my original forum account is still on the forum (https://www.ddo.com/forums/member.php/317602-Rumbaar).

How do I get that account back, merge this new one with that old one? Did we have to reset and start new from an old forum move/reset?

Contact Cordovan, although I don't think he will be able to do exactly what you want. I had the same problem and while he could not recover RangerOne, he was able to give me back my Hatchery perk name. It's worth a shot.

It depends on the state of the old account, but there are a bunch of pre-2013 accounts that are in a broken state that can no longer be fixed in 2018. If you signed into DDO.com using the user name and password connected to that old account, you should not have had to re-create a forum name unless the old one was disassociated from the game account. If it's just a matter of recovering the game account credentials, Account Support can help you with that.

Yeah, it's a 2009 account and I last accessed it in 2013. I signed into the DDO.com account, and then visited the forum of which I had to create this 'new' account. I see you're still here Cordovan

So I guess I'm out of luck with that old account, am I able to get access to it/adjust it via alternate means?

Probably not, and unfortunately I can no longer fix it either. A bunch of accounts got disassociated during some WB Games forum migration work in 2013, and now that we are SSG we no longer can fix it.
