Update Error 0xffffffff80043038

Hi,

Since the latest patch I keep getting "Update Error 0xffffffff80043038" when trying to update the game. This includes after 2 complete uninstalls and reinstalls, and disabling my virus scanner / firewall.

Anyone know what the fix is for this?

Yes,
I have been having this error for up to a year
To my best understanding,
It is like a server busy signal
The line just drops

My history with this is that the update servers are busy for the first couple days after an update
And that in the past I got this error,
I would try again maybe 8 hours later,
Like in the evening off peak hours
In the past I have gotten this error frequently
And my fix was to try again over the next few days
I never did an reinstall
It is a Updater issue
So it like having a good line to Updater
Sometimes it just drops on you
But what I did to try and meter it,
Was use different download speeds
I tried load and now am on 256
You can set these in options in Updater screen

So that my only advise,
Try it in off peak hours
And if it fails,
I try like 3-4 times more,
Waiting a couple mins in bbetween links

My experience has been that lately I gotta wait 2-3 days after update to get it to take
But on this last patch, I was able to d/l on two tries
It took the awesomemium and iterations
But gave me a 3038 on d/l of the files
I waited couple mins,
Restart the launcher,
And it finished the files
Sometimes it feels like luck
I don't when this started happening,
I never had this problem before a year? Ago
But that's been my experience
