Default Monster manual auto respawn locations.

There doesn't seem to be such a thread, I will post as I come across it.

Do update and I will confirm asap.

Criteria is auto respawn without needing to do anything.

Suggestion is do it on normal, if you haven't done the quest, elite finish it first and come back for it on normal.

    By Level.

    Level 1-3:

    Korthos- Wildness- Aquaduct- Sacrifices

You get infinite hobgoblins in the village in Tear of Dhakaan, and I'm pretty sure enemies will continue to spawn forever in Kobold Assault and Gladewatch Outpost Defense even after the quests are completed. Then you get zombies in Haunted Halls, warforged in Vault of Night, skeletons in the rooms with stairs in The Enemy Within, beholders and thaarak hounds in Dreams of Insanity, same in Invaders but you also get ice flensers and flesh renders there. Just pick the portal that spawns what you want. There's a rare encounter in the King's Forest that spawns drow as long as the red named is alive. Fire elementals in Taming the Flames, two human cultists respawn forever in Sacrifices in Korthos, two sahuagin in Stopping the Sahuagin, Halfling mercenaries respawn in Purge the Heretics, Oozes and Troglodytes in The Pit, skeletons in Xorian Cipher, spiders in Spawn of Whisperdoom, fire and earth elementals in Relic of a Sovereign Past, ghouls and ghasts and wights before the end fight in Bloody Crypt, mephits in Cleansing the Temple or Fall of the Prelate, maybe both, more mephits in Inferno of the Damned, scorpions and bats in Coal Chamber, various Quori in the Mindsunder.

There are a few more, but you need to do a bit more in those than just stand there.

Other than that Crystal Cove is a good place when it's active, you can get bugbears or ogres there depending on your level.

NemisisAlien is there a particular monster you're after?

[QUOTE=NemesisAlien;6164332. (Note skeletons seem to need some twitch movement for them to spawn so might not be the best optimal location to farm)[/QUOTE]

Why is that a problem? Were you planning on farming without ever moving?

I'm pretty sure AFKing your aura lock and disabling afk auto logout still counts as botting lol

Not quite auto respawn, but can make infinite spawns fast.

    Level 5-7:

House Phiarlan- Glitter Underhill- Mammoth Valley- A Small Problem

    1- Cursed water elemental.

After you talk to Brawnpits, when he assign you to collect water, do not go to the shrine, go straight to the waterfall and click on it.
Every 4 seconds you can click one time, recommend let hires do the killing, you concentrate on clicking.
Every click brings out 2 cursed water elemental to fight.
Note every click puts a cursed urn in your inventory, stacks to 10, so your inventory gets full very fast.
Click 800 times you complete your water elemental monster manual.

Helpful, but I must admit, somewhat messy. That search includes lots of "no longer respawns" as well as an "if you die you will respawn here"... also, I'm sad that that search makes no mention of the Haunted Halls of Eveningstar (yes, I scrolled through every entry in that list) as it (Haunted Halls) has infinitely respawning zombies provided you don't kill the necromancers chanting in the rooms.

Speaking of, HH is great for your zombie MM entries: on EE you get 4 zombies per room from 4 rooms every half minute or so (assuming you kill them fast). Hold fort in the middle of the hallway near the secret door entrance to it (from the pick a door entrance), and the hoard of 16 will come shambling to you to die without fail. This is also great for Remnant farming (you will have to manually pick up the hoards of gold droppings) as well as for chocolate farming during Mabar/Night Revels if you have a Draught of Midnight.

Scorpions, Drow and Scorrow can all be hit at the same time in Offering of Blood (almost any spot. they respawn and chase after you).

Scorpions gather even faster if you ignore the drow and scorrow and fall into one of the two scorpion pits (still Offering of Blood).

Scorpions, Ghasts, and Skeletons can all be farmed infinitely in different areas of The Chamber of Raiyum (wizking). The ghasts are slow respawning but infinite and do not require movement (basement). The scorpions and skeletons do require movement to respawn though. Some of the mummies also respawn but very slowly.

edit: Zawabi's Revenge (raid) has infinitely respawning Fire Elementals and Efreeti. The Efreeti in the hallway require you to move, but if you go into the main fight arena and intentionally fall to the lava below, you can park on either of the two platforms that have return portals on them. Fire Elementals and Efreeti will respawn infinitely there without requiring you to move. (this is also a great spot to farm white/blue/purple coins for risia/winter festival)

I do not remember if the respawning renders and thaarask hounds in Invaders! require you to move near the portals every once in a while or if they just pop up on a timer regardless of your movement.

so for zero moving required (this is just off the top of my head as I'm at work and can't investigate too deeply):
    - Haunted Halls for zombies
    - Offering of Blood for Scorpions, Scorrow, and Drow
    - WizKing for Ghasts
    - Zawabi's Revenge for Fire Elementals and Efreeti
    - Rest Stop for Shadows (umbral rats infinitely respawn during end fight so long as boss is alive)
    - Caught in the Web for various (at the very end even after Ana runs through to safety, a few enemies/portal keepers will continuously respawn in that area. There will be drow, driders, glabrezu, spiders, and some others that do not have MM entries)
    - Spinner of Shadows for Hezrou
    - Hound of Xoriat for Mindflayers, Reavers, Beholders and Thaarak Hounds
    - Vault of Night for Warforged (puzzle section)
    - Lots more I'm forgetting about atm

Koblod assult does not respawn infinitely, actually they respawn 3 times per bush, with one bush that spawn 3 times more on kaboom shamans.

Farming monsters in raids? Thats not very smart, not to mention the other 11 people will kill you...

Xorian Cipher needs movement, not auto respawn.

Sacrifices in Korthos auto respawn? I dont remember that, will check it out.

You do not need a full raid group to enter a raid and farm the respawns. If the goal is filling out your MM, it's quite simply to go in solo, get to the respawn point and farm away.

Vault of Night warforged respawn point is easy to get to (head right/east, then right again/south. You'll need to be able to cast knock, pick locks or have a bell of opening).

Zawabi's is super easy to get to as well. IIRC you don't even need to talk to Lailat/start the end fight. Just fall down once you get to the platform. She will remain inactive indefinitely)

Temple of the Deathwyrm can be soloed up to the second random path split (or even to the end fight if RNG is nice to you. Even the end fight can be soloed if you have a pet and are fast/have wings)

Hound of Xoriat can also be soloed, but surviving in order to farm the respawns can be difficult as they get stronger as time passes.

While CitW can be soloed, you can also stay after the raid end and let everyone else leave, then head back (DDoor) to farm the respawns post-raid.

(random FYI: I've done many of these myself for filling out MM entries faster)

edit: even the enemies in the Shroud phase 1 can be farmed. Just don't kill the poral, but always kill the portal keepers, and you'll get infinite respawning trogs, devils (bearded, orthon), and very slowly Tieflings (the portal keeper himself). In Legendary, you can also farm the end fight. The perch spot has been removed, but you can still avoid the book and just kill the random respawns as they respawn (slaadi, beholders, thaarask hounds, bearded devils, kobolds, orthons, fire elementals, fire giants, rust monsters, various oozes, drow, and scorrow).

The perch spot has been removed, but you can still avoid the book and just kill the random respawns as they respawn (slaadi, beholders, thaarask hounds, bearded devils, kobolds, orthons, fire elementals, fire giants, rust monsters, various oozes, drow, and scorrow).
    CtiW got driders right?

Off the top of my head - Whisperdoom
One of the Shadow Tomb quests - Shadow King?
The final "heart" quest - wait outside for respawns before finishing the boss - Bloody Crypt?

    aww

Last CC event, none of the kills were being registered in MM.
I do admit it was a few years ago, but I managed to complete the bugbear deeds from Crystal Cove. It might have been changed since then, though.

Taming the flames does not auto respawn, there is a timer and walk pass effect.

Stopping the Sahuagin where is the respawn? also slow?

Same speed as the cultists in Sacrifices I think. As I recall it's the two Sahuagin where the tunnel splits before the big ice room with the gong.

so, I spend a little time every week on 1 toon to get the special entries for mm, (named monsters mainly). It does pay off, albeit a slow payoff. I stopped doing the mass numbers like you're after, as there are only 2 companions I want, but I don't use those so......
I go after xp, jewels @ fortune, & remnants, but not as much as I used to. a medium jewel doesn't entice people that much (if at all)
