What do Chaos Orbs do?

Okay, I mostly know what Chaos Orbs do...when one hits you in The Xorian Cypher or Invaders! or other quests, they bestow some kind of spell on you. Mostly buffs or debuffs.

But has anyone made a list of the effects that happen?

I don't know if anyone ever made a list.
I've received various things over the years.

I think I got the portable hamstorm from them once, but I might be misremembering.
My two most frequent effects seem to be Enervation and Tenser's Transformation. A distant third would be Cometfall.

I took my Pale Master into it (since in undead form she'd be immune to most of the indignities I was subjecting her to). In about 10 minutes the chaos orbs did:

ATTACKS:
slay living
slow
fear
crushing despair
enervation
Ray of Enfeeblement
Disintegrate
Finger of Death
Touch of Idiocy
burning hands
Otto's Irresistble Dance
Cone of Cold
Feeblemind

BUFFS
water breathing
Jump
Wild Instincts

HEALING
repair critical
Heal
Restoration
cure light wounds

Probably not a comprehensive sample, but it does show how wide-ranging the effect is.

edit: I believe I've also been Blinded, as well.

they also randomly transform one minor item (i assume something like a scroll or spell component... nothing actually that valuable) into a piece of ham. supposedly that's what happens when you do the "cheer" emote

It doesn't transform an item, you gain a ham.

I have also seen Cometfall, but I think it's just the visual effects, as it did no damage.

I once got hit by "slay Living"...
When deathblock items were borked (not working).
I rolled 1... <_<
