Returning player...I've kept my TR's up to date but never really touched raiding/reapers much the last few years.
I did try reaper with a buddy about 11 months ago (he was a monk) and I noticed that with decent non raid gear I got one shot all the time. My damage was fine, (lead kill count) but surviving was hard. I play a bladeforge and love the playstyle of healing myself so won't really change that (feel like cocoon is worthless or atleast not close to reconstruction).
So my question and just a heads up..I don't understand the math of how these feats work so would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me with how much better a feat is in damage over others.
My current feats:
21 oc
24 combat archery
26 holy strike
27 imp sneak
28 doubleshot
29 chaos
30 ethereal
Epic reflexes
Thinking of changing to:
21 oc
24 combat archery
26 holy strike
27 deific Armor *change*
28 doubleshot
29 chaos
30 Scion of the Plane of Earth. *change*
Epic reflexes
My reasoning is I feel like my damage is fine....everyone wants more ofcourse but if I get oneshot then damage is nothing dead. So this would add a static 30prr and up to another 20 if I get full stacks (and 30mrr also). I still get 2d20 acid but I lose out on the sneak attack +1 damage based off hide skill. (how much damage am I losing by not taking this).
I don't feel like Blur and invisible guard matters because I have those on items already.
I would keep this until I get gear that makes me more "beefy" then switch back to something more offensive. Also I need a lot of reaper XP so that will help also in dps/survivability as I can spend points.
I also have zero clue how the new augs for the legendary gear/weapons work yet (if someone could tell me the top three path choices and why that would be great).
I duo with my wife who plays a pure casting warlock and we both have around 25 ish past lives. Just want to be able to run up to +5 reapers without pulling my hair out (might be easier now haven't touched one in 2 years).
Thanks for any advice/info.
