(EDIT 1: Hey, all! Thank you for coming out to Preview 2 of U41! We'll be closing the preview at roughly 6:30 PM Eastern. If you've got a last minute thing you'd like to test, now's the time! Send your feedback here in the forums! <3')
Hello, all! Preview 2 is expected to be open until sometime on Thursday 11/29.
There will be a dev event featuring, atleast, Kookie Kobold (the creator of the new dungeon) and Lynnabel (The designer behind the Threads of Fate, Bard Songs Revamp, and Named Loot for U41) between 8PM (Eastern) and 10PM (Eastern). Simply log onto lamannia and type "/joinchannel devchat" in order to chat with some devs!
Below you can see links to the various feature threads as well as the list of assorted smaller features:
Feature Threads
- New Dungeon: Lost at Sea
- Eldritch Knight Revamp
- Arcane DPS Spells Pass
- Bard Songs Revamp
- Threads of Fate + Filigree
- New Dungeon Named Loot
Assorted Smaller Features
- Enhancements
- Renegade Mastermaker's Kinetic Discharge can now be used while moving.
- Renegade Mastermaker's Shielding Construct and Warding Construct now require the right amount of Artificer levels.
- Dual-Dagger Vistani Knife Fighters now use a shorter animation for Cleave (as well as several other AOE special attacks), which should make those attacks take the same amount of time as they do in other Combat Styles.
- Epic Destinies
- Shadowdancer's Meld Into Darkness is now much less likely to be interrupted.
- Quests
- The bats at the bat cave in the Vale of Twilight now properly spawn in the cave.
- Items
- New scrolls are now available based on the new spells listed below in the release notes.
- Collectibles now sort themselves based on Tier and Rarity in your Red Collectibles Bags.
- Siberys Dragonshards now contain their Feat-Respec level ranges in their tooltips
- Mysterious Remnants, Raid Runes, and Threads of Fate no longer ask if they'd like to be picked up when you loot them in chests.
- Orbs
- Orbs now appear in Random Loot. They can appear with most of the same effects that Random Loot Sceptres do
- Orbs found in Random Loot can be Cannith Crafted. They gain Orb Bonuses instead of Enhancement Bonuses (as Named Orbs do). They use the Shield list of craftable effects (which includes Spell Power), but also have the option of Spell Focus in the Prefix slot, as well as Insightful Spell Power, Insightful Spell Focus or Spell Lore in the Suffix slot.
- Adjusted the rates at which Martial and Spellcaster weapons drop in Random Loot to accomodate the addition of Orbs to those tables.
