Hello everyone, I bring you Mesmerita as she stands going into the Isle of Dread expansion. I just got Racial Completionist on her so stats are a bit up and Ive made my perfect AP layout! She is meant to be a super crowd control character with massive buffs and great healing! 19 points in PDK tree for For Cormyr! buff, its the best partybuff ever! (for me, its a +60% dps increase, bit lower for those real DPSers) You can control your hitpoints with Rose Colored goggles and have your party go to town! Very fun indeed! Single target Freeze for those mobs hard to CC and my Consecration also stuns... Every raidgroup needs a build like this!

(Augment sets)

Starting Stats and the first few levels
18 Charisma 18 Constitution 12 Intelligence. First few AP goes into Spellsinger tree for soundblast SLA. At lvl3 you get songs and should work towards single target Freeze from Warchanter. Once aquired, head back into Spelllsinger tree to improve your songs. Try to take the Warchanter cores as they become available, and take medium armor profficiency at lvl15 for Blessed Vestments. Generally, you want to take the next cure spell as you level up, and for skills, keep Perform and the social skills maxed. The build focuses on Evocation with Enchantment a 2nd option. That is because you can lower mob saves with Hypnotism and Crushing Despair. It requires a +1 Heart to remove the fighter level and you start as lvl15, but it pays off to visit lower level quests for favor rewards. Mainly hitpoints but also all the skills I take pretty much.

P.S: Could this work without the Paslives?
Eventhough, I am nealy maxed out with pastlives, I still think this can work even as a firstlifer! You have to choose between Spellsinger Capstone or Warchanter T5s. If we say, we go, for max buffs again, Id take the For Cormyr (19pts), WC T5 6% dmg (33pts) and that leaves 28 points for good Spellsinger Song buffs. Or you could focus on the healing with Spellsinger Capstone: For Cormyr(19), SS Cap(41) and that leaves 20 for some Warchanter stuff. It takes 21pts to get the temp HP aura, so if you only have the base 80 try to get a hold of a +1 racial tome somehow. Your DCs will be lower and youll lack a lot of Spell Penetration from PLs. Your For Cormyr wont be as strong due to lack of charisma, but It'll be worthwhile still and you also will have lower HP, but the builds foundation is still intact, and you could see if it is something for you... Support isnt for everyone, but I think its fun to make your teammates stronger, keep mobs CCed and Helpless to maximize party dmg, while keeping people healed and generally ensure smooth runs! Remember to get a hold of Rose Colored goggles next time there is Birthday event! Id love to hear from you if you try the build or have any questions!

I've been contemplating a purple pure spellsinger for quite a while now but the cost of that heart is annoying. I have a couple of those +20 hearts that were handed out but this seems like a waste to use on. Still, following to learn how it performs. Of course, my main thing was the cha to damage and tactics. The for cormyr trick would be just gravy

I like my spellsingers evoking, soundbursting, BOGWing.
Also, a "max buffs bard" should probably go deeper in Warchanter.

Mine is also built around evocation so I don't really need the spell penetration feats. Because of that I went half-elf for warlock dilitante but I'd be very interested to hear how the pdk version performs

I would say u don't have a lvl 12 feat and there's a discusion about heighten on bards due to having max lvl 6 spells, if you're gonna charm i would grab maybe augment summoning heroic and epic versions just because lol heck i would even thing of squeezing more stuff to boost enemies on higher skulls

I'd wait until the U41 details are finalized for the Bard Song update.

However, I don't believe you're going to be happy with this approach. You're building a pure support character with minimal/non-existent ability to deal damage.

Unfortunately, this isn't really an effective archetype in DDO. You'll find solo'ing nearly impossible and you'll be less effective in groups than more conventional builds. Your buffs/heals aren't really potent enough to be the sole justification for your presence in a group and your inability to operate independently makes you a far less effective teammate than the alternatives.

Level 12 feat will be the new bard feat. I know a support character isnt for everybody but I like it, I can CC about everything, can heal/raid heal and buffs are really just extra but with For Cormyr you give out the max amount of damage for your party. Id have to check how it stacks with new song buffs type but previously bard songs were morale just like For Cormyr. Its only 1 minute/per rest but its a nice boss beatdown buff, thx for the comments guys!

I don't see it.
* Bards lack the spell list versatility to CC many types of monsters.
* Epic spells don't help.
* Fascinate is a really poor option.

Took a break from racials and rolled up this build for fun 8) I will have to wait on a +20 heart or this life will be "wasted" since I dont need Bard or PDK hehe

For max fun it requires a team that works well together, and dont heal you when trying to proc For Cormyr! Its a super boss buff but timing it can be a little tricky. I went a bit deeper in warchanter than my 2nd post suggests, I took medium armor prof. bc Im using Divine Sharn set, so picked up the single target freeze as well for those constructs or other mobs hard to get with regular CC-

I have 8 racial points so they help towards the 19 in PDK tree. I havent been streaming lately but I just reached 20 so might do some recording in epics! I have 72 cha atm 65 DC, and its a really fun build to play. There is a really great lvl12 WC core that gives temp HP, but its counter productive to have when proccing For Cormyr, even the heal over time song, so often I dont sing to myself for boss. I do buff the others though, as much as I can! 8)

I also Tested T5 in Falconry for the +10% dps increase. Theres that and Fatesinger chains 12% and full Sacred Ground 10%, thats some serious debuff too!

I took that core for more buffs, and found that with LGS I can overcome the temp hp and sustaining song heals making For Cormyr really easy to proc. I added some screeenies to OP. Im very pleased with the build and incorporated single target freeze, so much fun...

TRed out of a Spellsinger build early this week and will give you my breakdown. I believe that screenshot has some unrealistic short term effects like Turn the Tide so keep that in mind.

Yes I used some short-term buffs, mainly Turn of the Tide (+2 better than song) and PDK +3 Cha Boost. I also use Masked Ball from Fatesinger which gives 1 cha.

So I am waiting on Sharn raid2, for caster goggles so I can free Night Mothers Sceptre and use LGS off hander again for the Affirmation and exeptional charisma...

...but then I crafted Leg Collective Sight with constitution and I must say I really like it. I am at 1987 HP (+208 temp), and regen 94 HP every 10 seconds from LGS outside reaper.

Been doing some R7+ and the heals and CC is really good, but For Cormyr! can be dangerous on high reapers when LGS stacks up, had a 1395 hit when already low that killed me hehe But its a very fun build and its been a nice test here midway with racial lives.
