Default TWF question: L. Silent Avenger or L. Crypt Raider?

I can't decide between them - kinda like the +20 MP, especially when watching the damage scroll by, but I kinda think Silent Avenger's bonuses will lead to higher overall dps.

    I'd appreciate your thoughts!

It likely depends on a lot of different things.

Out of the gate, if you have a way to reliably create sneak attacks, I'd say Silent Avenger is better as +sneak attack dice and helpless damage add to DPS in a variety of situations.

For doublestrike vs melee power, the amount of benefit will depend on current stats.

If you already have HUGE melee power and low doublestrike, adding doublestrike will allow you to apply that melee power more often.
If you already have near cap doublestrike and low melee power, you'll be adding the melee power bonus over more "hits".

If you're balanced...I'd probably look at the benefits of Silent Avenger
    1. sneak attack dice (if you can generate sneak attacks)
    2. helpless damage (if you are able to self generate helpless states or if you run with CC classes)
    3. fortification bypass (if you fight a lot of high fort mobs and don't have lots of fort bypass already)
4 the ability to evade (if you have access to evasion as the two main avenger chest pieces are cloth and light armor)

    Vs Crypt Raider
    1. +to hit and damage vs Evil creatures (as long as you're fighting evil stuff, which is pretty often)
    2. additional defense in +saves vs evil creatures and wearing medium armor with better PRR
    3. threat reduction for melee damage....which seems odd for this set, but hey

If you can't sneak attack, don't often hit helpless mobs, don't have access to evasion, and fight a lot of fleshy, living mobs, then Crypt Raider.

    Thanks! Great reply

That makes a lot of sense.

Slightly leaning toward more defense . . .
