    Default Prestige classes

So, we have a whole bunch of classes that can preform outside of their given design,

EK to melee on a wiz,
Warchanter and swashbuckler to melee on a social skill/buff bot,
A wholle bunch of boosts to promote melee on clerics (seen some sick maul builds here),
Melee buffs on a crafting/buff bot/ artillery class,
Amazing bow& throwing skills on a hand to hand fighting class
    Raging druids& clerics????

    And the list goes on.

    Where is the runescared berzerker?

Be careful what you wish for. When I saw Renegade Mastermaker announced I was psyched to finally get to play my magitek cyborg in DDO.

Instead what we got was quite possibly the biggest mess of an enhancement tree with an identity crisis since EK. Is it a melee tree? Is it a tanking tree? Is it a healing tree? Is it a spellcaster tree? Nope! It's none of these things! It's garbage outside a very niche build for a single fight requiring a very niche setup....yay!

Leave it to SSG to take one of the most awesome things to come out of Eberron and screw it up.

Let's not talk about Bacon of Hope, I had so much hope for that one .

Seems like the artists ran out of colors too when making those enhancement icons, why is everything shaded blue there?

I was really looking forward for some arcane+divine brew for the 3rd FvS, i guess thats gone..

Really? I've been running from 1/26 the last few days with a BoH fav soul and he tears things up, powerfull buffs, superb healing and amazing trash clearer, when asked he said the only thing that was lacking was boss dps.
Sadly, he will stay at cap
I'm going to miss him when i tr back to korthos

As for the new arty prestige class, it seems to work amazingly well in the right hands and build.

Dragon disciples in eberron? Are you expecting to be rezzed from dragon poo every other day? Then again, we do have that abomination named dragonborn....

I mean in the right hands a zero enhancement druid can tear things up. That's not the point. The point is if you played one in PnP you're used to replacing body parts with artifact enhancements and all sorts of nifty stuff. You basically turn yourself into a steampunk magitek cyborg.

The DDO version gets...free potion tosses and an attack that doesn't do much on boss fights. Yay?

The racial HP boost and armor stacking makes it really nice for one specific fight though. Outside of that there are significantly better options out there.

So that's what I mean by don't get your hopes up. Instead of it being a healing tree or a melee tree or a tanking tree or even just a awesome cyborg tree they sprinkled in some healing skills, some tanking skills, some melee skills, some buffing skills all over the place. There's no unifying theme.

Great if all you do is epic hard content where a generalist build shines. But if you want to do anything harder than EH dailies, it's a 'meh' class at best.

No-no, i dont expect only raw power from an enhancement tree, i like to have some unique gamplay opportunity, see assasin or archwizard for example, they enhance the way you can play a wizard. I just dont find the same opportunity with BoH, while it has some new healing perk, it doesnt alter&enhance&support the way I play an FvS significantly.

I think it is fair to take a wild guess that they will be adding more new prestige classes that add more odd and fun mechanics for the players. They seem to be adding them at a steady rate now, so for me its kinda a guessing game what comes next? Will it be a class add or universal prestige tree? Will it tack on to a few classes only? Will it be something from an established list somewhere as everyone one has been so far, so that makes sense?

So many interesting prestige classes out there, my personal favorite is some sort of shapeshifter that would add some form options to any builds but was basically like druid, after seeing Shapeshifter in there that one looks like a lot of fun. I can imagine so many builds that would enjoy splashing or diving into it, but what would the forms be?

There are many other very interesting classes, we are most likely going to see the next prestige class come from some established DnD prestige concept with DDO adjustments.
(DDO PVP PVE 24/7 options options come check us out better then ever!!!) = (+) Sales
(DDO PVE only, 10k isn't required, no need to TR 150 times, don't worry) = (-) Scary
Live large, you are awesome, you are here, you are happening! Sincerely, Proton

Ohhh no wories, i don't have high hopes for the dev team XD, i was merely hinting at all these classes that were given the optiin to fulfill other rolls, exept for the full bab classes.

Shapeshifter wouldn't work, making the animation is apperently very hard and many shappes are to small/large/over powered, many abilities wouldn't work like fly, dig etherial, etc
With stealth being broken, many small animals and such would be useless
Its a big can of worms when you allow players to turn into full fledged dragons.
