    Post Guidl Cap De-level

So me and my guild mates are happy we finally reached the end of hitting 200. Were an open guild for newbies to veterans of all sorts focusing on being a laid back helpful guild. The problem with that being is every time someone deletes a toon that's basically a day old because they don't enjoy it end up De-leveling the guild too 199. then we have to regrind their renown loss. its only a couple legendary tokens nothing bad, just annoying. and I don't feel like were the only guild to dislike this.

My solution seemingly super easy to fix, just add 100k renown to the renown cap. that 100k is easy to fill while saving guilds from being de-leveled when people change their minds about the toon like changing their underwear. this 100k will absorb the little amount lost and not affect the guild at all, and why should it affect the guild when someone new leaves? I don't mind helping people or bringing newbies in but when they leave and don't care, the guild is what gets hit. not really by much but its still annoying. This 100k pool of renown after the 22,500,000 amount will assure that they don't affect the guild and if someone who's been in a while actually does leave, then ya it does de-level based on their contribution.

I don't want to sound annoying but its annoying I have to re-level my own guild that I've build since level 1. I don't intend to change the way my guild is run, and I don't want to be a closed friends guild only or something. Me and my friends and members/officers have worked hard to get to cap after all these years, I just wish we could enjoy being in ARE capped guild and not have to keep cycling through new members trying to help them only for them to delete the toon.

I wont be changing the recruitment ways of my guild just to keep this from happening.

    Thx (mind my shotty grammer)

So what you're asking for is like a renown-cushion, a small cushion of renown you can earn over level 200 that will prevent the guild from loosing level 200 from minor new character creation/deletion/joining and swiftly quitting essentially the plight of the new player fresh to character building and the game.

I really don't see how this would hurt anything and frankly I'm surprised that there isn't already a cushion for just such an issue.

    Just to play devils advocate:

Use the threat of delivering as an incentive to be as good a guild as possible to all your members, new and old, to minimize the risk of them leaving.

....but yes, being 200 is a mark of pride, and it does get frustrating seeing it go down to 199 every once in a while. A cushion would be nice, I agree, but it could also be incentive to be as good as possible to your fellow members (not saying you're not already, I know nothing about your specific situation).
