Perhaps you should unsticky this thread so it can drift into obscurity. It might also limit the need for people to post on year old threads when the servers are down.

Jeez, for sure. Now unstickied. You look at a forum long enough and sometimes these things become invisible.

Maybe you should go through some of the other stickied posts, too. For example, this forum has an inaccurate one about weekly downtime (I'm pretty sure today isn't Tuesday), one about a specific downtime in 2018, and one about character transfers being disabled in 2016. Just here in Service News, that's 3/4 that are wrong or irrelevant.

The point of stickied posts is for people to see them. If they're mostly outdated and/or wrong, all you're doing is conditioning users to ignore the stickied posts, which is the exact opposite of the desired behavior.
