Default Wood Elves existing in Ebberon

I've been trying to find some information if Wood Elves really do exist in the Ebberon campaign setting. I did a bit of digging, and read that the subrace falls under the Valenar Elves from the Xen'Drik catagory. I want to know if this is true, if someone has any useful information, cheers.

    A quick reply

    D&D V3 & V4,

They are a splinter groups of Aerani or Tairnadal, for all intent purposes.

You will get varying answers on this because of companies other than WotC/TSR publishing their own worlds and populations.
*Ill get more info later today for you*

When it comes to a lot of Eberron lore I mainly defer to Keith Baker's writings.
What we all know as wood elves are due largely in part because of Lord of the Rings. The D&D versions are not (from what I've learned) directly referenced in sanctioned publications. (Until 5e)?

The devs can give specific lore on that. As I am just now learning this "new" 5e world.

Aerenal is known for mystical lumber and elves... soooo... wood elves?

    edit:
    races of eberron 3.5 lists
valenar elf - horseback war elf (tairnadal elves, also live in north aerenal)
aerenal elf - carpenter necromancer ancestor worshippers (baboon beastmasters... SSG, make it so!)
khorvaire elf - human friendly cosmopolitan elf
    drow - xendrik/khyber dwellers

This website gives info on aereni and valenar wood elves
