Default Killing Time ~ Initial Notes and Rough Guide

    General:
Kor Kaza is now a Dracolich. She is using the Chronoscope to do bad things to our timeline. If she completes her ritual then the raid wipes. Her ritual is paused when a person is within the bubble she is currently occupying. She will damage the timeline three times, making it necessary to split the party to deal with her AND the damaged timeline. Someone needs to stay in her bubble to keep her from ending the raid---and simultaneously you need to heal the timelines.

~ Kor Kaza is indicated by a red dot on the map.

    Party Layout:
    1. Two tanks and two healers are recommended. This is because you will need to split the party. A tank and healer will be "dragon chasers" while the other tank and healer will deal with the rifts.
    2. A DC caster to deal with trash during boss fight.
    3. DPS for dragon and the rifts.

    Specific Guide:
    1.
    a. Have the "dragon chasers" head to the first Kor Kaza fight.
    b. Have the rest of the party drop into the nether. They will spawn in random areas. You clear these areas so that when people accidentally fall off that they can easily get back to the party. There are 6 areas and they include: Shan-to-Kor [stone golem], Plane of Nightmares [Dream stealer], the Pit [furnace 2], Tor [Black Dragon], Wizking [him or one of his Lieutenants], and Into the Deep [Pit Demon].
    2.
Unite the party and defeat Kor Kaza. Chase her to the next platform and defeat her again. Trah spawns at 50%. (?) The whisps should be killed by the party ASAP since they do a lot of damage.
    3.
Once she despawns you will need to split the party again. The dragon tank/healer will head to Kor Kaza and the rest of the party will step into the first rift. If the tank/healer need a shrine then they need to come back and step into the rift before the party heals it. You continue on in this way until the three rifts are completed. You keep some mooks in the dragon bubble, and the majority of the party on the rifts or dragon as needed.
    4.
    The three rifts are
    a. Marut (easy)
    b. Nythrios (hard ~ 2nd Tower of Despair fight with the Cold shadows)
    c. Lord of Blades (Hard). Killing LOB finishes the raid. See his page for details on his special attacks. E.x., After he stuns the tank, the party needs to back off or they will be hit by massive AOE.

    ~
    - Pit lever and an exit is at top. Pull levers then turn around. Another portal appears at bottom
    - It is good to switch the healers out. Then the one chasing the dragon gets to shrine.
    - ??? The intim required is between 110 and 125. I'm not sure but 105 seemed to be failing consistently on LE.

They seem to be as rare as named loot.
I saw 2 drop in 2 EH runs today.

I'm not certain but it seems the intim required is between 110 and 125. I'm not sure but 105 seemed to be failing consistently on LE. I'll get a better number for this on LH in a couple days hopefully!

roughly 123-125 for LE. I'd expect 110-120 range for LN/LH

The Dragon flipping around seems to be a big problem. Before PRR, 1) LH it does ~650, 2) LE it does ~1100.

At 200 PRR on Elite it does ~360 (720 both flips)
At 100 PRR on Hard it does ~550 (1100 both flips)

    ~

    Intimidate is:
(Intimidate Skill x 200)+(Highest Person on the threat list)

So if you intimidate with 125*200 then you do 25,000 damage.
This means that (over 6 seconds) a single dps can do 4166 dps without any threat multipliers.
With 2 tanks in synchronization that is about 8200 dps without any threat multipliers.

    ~

DPS should expect to take this damage unless there is a hate tank. For this reason I believe groups should require 1500 hit points on LH and 2000 hit points on LE.
Sustained healing works great: aura, wall, consecrated ground.

    ~

Block when the dragon tail slams to avoid knockdown.
When blue rings appear, anyone near her will take massive damage from the paw smash.
When yellow text appears above her head (accompanied by a sinking sound), anyone on the outer ring will take massive damage.

In ToD, be careful of FvS and EA auras, or use them on the kiter to get agro.

Red globe seems to be the biggest problem so far for our group. What damage type is it? Bane or something? Does MRR reduce it?

I was no fail intiming with around 100 on LH on the MaulBearian. Most of the time I still see success when I'm at 88 from gear swaps.

Is kiting shadows needed, or is tanking shadows a potentially good strategy in Killing Time? (Works better in original ToD than kiting if you have decent cold absorb.)
