Why does the Sphere of Waves have the same appearance as the Echo of the Tome of Strahd? Totally not the right appearance for this item.
The Wind Howler Mask looks like Memories of Kindness, too. Weak.

LOL you guys added an augment slot thinking that even remotely comes close to making it decent? LOL
"These weapons will also be included in Update 40, although their acquisition method will be a little different than most methods. More details to come when the rest of the Update is a little further along. You can expect to have to run raid-level content to access these."
Now that the Raid is in testing will we be getting an update on this part?
Will existing WPM weapons upgrade or do they become gem food for the raid level content versions?

To obtain the Raid-level versions of the WPM weapons, you will need a Sentient Gem of the appropriate weapon with 0 Sentient XP, a non-sentient version of the originals, and 5 of a new ingredient that will drop in Killing Time. The NPC that will upgrade your items to their ultimate versions will be in the Hall of Heroes, within earshot of the White Plume quest itself.

"Have you tried preproccing feat directory?"
Thank you Lynnabel!
Sounds like fun, hopefully it wont take the same amount of time as collecting 1250 runes to get 5 ingredients, or <shudder> 6250...

To avoid the scenario in which a player accidentally deletes their sentient gem by putting into a recipe which will effectively delete the entire thing, I hard restricted weapons which contain a sentient gem from being included. I also hard restricted the gem to only work with exactly 0 xp to avoid someone blowing up their main gem accidentally.
So, worst case, yes, you'll need to pull Whelm apart to get the Raid level version.

Curious. Two more questions related to this
1) Do mythic bonuses transfer over from the original weapon? I'm guessing not, but it would be awesome if there was a way they could.
2) How do we get the alt versions of the weapon like the orb or the longsword? I'm guessing it's a similar manner?

And for Angdrelve and Soul's Sorrow? Is there a sentient gem for Wave of Despair/Sorrow?
Also, description on Angdrelve/Soul's Sorrow:
"Chance to cause confusion on-hit, also does 9d6 chaos damage to confused targets - lawful characters take a neg level"
What is this confusion? the same from Hulks? Helpless?
Thanks in advance.

No fun, no $$$
No, no sentient gem requirement for either of those - same with the Frostblade. You'll just need the Schism Shards and the original weapon. Great question!
And the confusion is the Warlock confusion, which I believe is an initial aggro list drop while allowing both friend and foe attacks for the duration. The sword will work on both Warlock confusion and its own confusion, dealing extra Chaos damage to people it hits who are confused![]()

Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.
A raid especially like this one theme could be trying to be more all-inclusive, so far mostly focusing on ( caster gear, melee weapons)..
0 Healer gear. (aside that Bardish necklace that might be ok on a cleric too)
0 Stealth gear.
0 Generic/defensive gear that helps surviving for everyone.
0 Light armors
0 Cloth armors
0 Shields
Few ranged gear, mostly with reshuffled effects that take away already similarly powerful non raid items. If Salt procs from shortword shurikens are again the winners in this branch.
For healers i would recommend some spell points regen, maybe when using low level healing spells add some 10-15% chance to regen few sp, so using a light cure would have a chance that after the new points the next cast can be a better healing spell.
For stealth, improved invisibility, anti termor sense, move silently/hide score, and stealth movement speed would be all great. Or the one I have asked for years, let us use concentration to keep pulling a lever (use actions uninterrupted) as long as we take less damage than our concentration score.
Generic defense, well more hitpoints (toughness) is always good
Cloth, Ragged Rags now with effects on it !!. Legendary Stench?
Light armor (Misery's) 1% chance to drop a DC100 Web under you on attacking.
Shields, i admit i rarely use them so wont suggest anything![]()
This is so DDO. It has a charm of its own.
I'm... pleasantly ambivalent with the process. The x5 mat restriction is pretty standard and I do enjoy the whole thing as it extends the raid's lifespan without being too punishing on the grind depending on the drop rate and I like to have multiple uses for the Sentient gems outside of feeding into the grindstone even more and since there's so many of them out now, may as well have them do something else.
On the other hand... it feels super arbitrary under the 'why not?' premise. Especially with the usual, charm infused DDOesque limitations of needing the gem to be at 0 exp and the weapon unslotted when people have surely trashed multiple gems and have Blackrazor slotted if they're using it.
All of this, strangely hits home.
Maybe add an upgraded version of Legendary Graz'zt's Habiliment, and a set bonus with Angdrelve/Soul's Sorrow?
