Default Fast Healing or Colors of the Queen

I'm doing a few Epic past lives with the intent of going back to heroics and help me a little bit with those. I already have Brace, Enchant Weapon and Doublestrike. However, I was curious as to what stance I should try to shoot for from the Primal Sphere.

Would you go for Colors of the Queen or Fast healing? I am leaning toward fast healing myself, but I know it has reduced benefit in Reapers.

    Any thoughts?

Let's try to cut down the variables. These epic past lives I'm guessing you took are only taken once. Probability that your melee oriented, and taking colors only once means 7% chance to proc every 30 secs. Go fast healing. Survival is critical vs output damage is the age old question. Personally having good defense to start with then focusing on damage might be the ticket.

    actually people grab doubleshot

Colors is fun but randomy...fast healing is essentially a free Diehard feat & handy in non-reaper. If in reaper, colors but honestly that doubleshot is sweet.

I have 3 Martial, 3 Arcane and 3 Divine...I'm about to start my Primal toggle, then go back to heroics and work on racials. Doubleshot is out, so it comes down to Fast Healing or CotQ. I have been doing R1 lately solo. I guess I'm wondering if in heroics on R1...is Fast Healing or CotQ better for 1-20?

Whichever I do...I will also do 3 times before heading back to heroics for my Racial PL's.

I am not planning on playing ranged any time soon. When I do, I'll grab double shot.

I think the easier the difficulty the better fast healing is - you don't need help killing things on low difficulties, and fast healing every minute may not keep you alive if things hit hard, but it tops up your HP between fights and means you don't ever have to stop moving to drink potions or wrangle cleric hirelings.

The harder the difficulty in reaper, the better COTQ is - the fast healing gets scaled down so badly it isn't very useful any more, and the big procs at low levels are so much damage that they'll probably still instakill things that would take you longer to kill otherwise.

At low skulls, I think it comes down to personal playstyle preference on convenience v flashy graphics - neither is must have, both are useful.

if you have many attacks/sec ... i.e. repeater, two weapon fighting, etc ... colors is better
if you have not many attacks/sec then fast healing will benefit more.

7% chance is a numbers game ... more attacks means more procs.

Fast healing is kind of borked - it fires every 60 seconds, for essentially 5+5/level, plus heal bonus. Acquired 2 times, it doesn't fire every 30 seconds, it fires every 60 seconds, with double healing. It would be much better if it fired 60/30/20 seconds.

I run mostly R2/R3's and keep Fast on for low levels, but for the most part run colors past level 10 or 15 when it's percentage of heal becomes less.

I used to run fast healing a fair amount before reaper it was enough to make a difference. Now it's junk, colors all the way unless you exclusively play ranged then doubleshot.
