At least this isn't power creep
But hey!!! It's only one part of the an update. So Im confident we'll get some in there somehow.

This is bittersweet. Sweet because yay, cloaks. It's fun and this should be fun.
Bitter because, come on, think about it. Update 37. You couldn't have rolled this out 9 months ago along with Vistani?
It could have been the... Cloak and Dagger Update.
YEEEAAAHHH!

And how about making visible quivers too so that archers can actually look like archers?
They could be made exclusive with cloaks like goggles and helmets are if that is a problem for now.
Please show us cloak of the mimic and cloak of night!
This was my immediate thought as well. The option for guilds to create a logo that their members could optionally activate as a cosmetic on their cloaks would be awesome. Guild raid: a dozen players, all with the same cloak.. or if guild/PUG, then you can still show whose raid it is by showing the colors.
Also, you could sell this option, both to guilds and to individuals.

I'd imagine if someone likes a particular looking cloak, they can keep it and basically claim it early for a "Guild Banner/Logo". But it's basically first come first served.

I like this idea too.
While larping some years ago, I know it looks very great to run in a group, in which each member wears a cloak with the same logo on it.
Or upload a guild-picture, which apears in the horizontal middle (of the upper part) of the cloak(s).
The reason you will never be given the ability to upload a pic for a Guild Tag/Logo, is because there will ALWAYS be someone to ignores or doens't know the rules.
No Profanity.
No Nudity.
No Copyrighted stuff.
The first two you'll probably get dinged on quickly by others who see it.
But Copyright stuff? Sure, the "S" is very famous, but there are also other stuff that isn't as famous that can bring problems for SSG by letting them be uploaded and shown in DDO.
So yeah, no custom uploads. But I suppose SSG Devs could do competitions that permits a "sort of" custom look.

Almost all cloaks look great on all my characters. Except one.
So great job!!!
But in the interest of continual improvement ....

I haven't checked to see if this has been posted before, so forgive me. The bug reporting tool has never worked, and will never work, so I didn't bother to try and report this through there.
Cloaks allow graphical elements of the armor worn to bleed through them. See video for an example. https://youtu.be/OUKbFGgkDm8

Can we PLEASE get a tag on old loot-gen cloaks so we know which cloaks, on the AH, will be visible? I'm going to recraft all my cloaks and don't want to waste money/AS on cloaks with augment slots that aren't visible.
