Favoured soul DC

Im about to start my new life as a pure favored soul and i don't know if i should go WIS fvs or CHA fvs for dc favored soul with some decent dps with spells like sunbolt etc.
34pt build , 3 past lives (cleric , rougue , warlock).

Wis gets mass frog, cha gets energy burst. Wis gets +2 from festival augment (if you have them), and another +2 from t2 twist acute instincts while raged (rage pots work), and a short term buff of +4 wis and +3 spell pen from aureon deity active feat (up to 144 seconds every 10 minutes). Cha gets +2 from exalted angelic presence while above 50% hp, and luck of olladra deity active feat which heals you to full and gives 1d6 to each stat (144 sec/10 min).

The wis twist is only effectively +1 wis vs cha, as you can twist +1 cha in that slot. The deity feats average +0.5 wis vs cha (1d6 averages to 3.5, sometimes you get more, sometimes less). If you have the augment and can keep rage up, a wis build can effectively have a sustainable +1 wis vs cha, and another +0.5 on average while deity feat is up.

So basically, wis gets an aoe instakill, and potentially more dc, but getting that dc depends on short term buffs and an augment you can only get during night revels. Cha has a bit more aoe dps, and you don't have to worry about keeping a rage pot up all the time.

Also, wis gets a higher will save unless you spend a feat on force of personality, and cha has better umd and social skills.

Also also, wis races are aasimar, aasimar scourge, and deep gnome, and cha races are drow and dragonborn. Keep that in mind if you prefer one of those races, or are going for racial past lives.

If you play epic reaper you can't dps

Wisdom and mass frog wins every time

If you're just going to reincarnate at 20, do Charisma. If you're going to stay at cap for a while, do Wisdom.

You can check the link in my sig which shows a wisdom and charisma build. I think there are better synergies with Wisdom and Aasimar, but if you want to run elite or low skull with energy burst Charisma will work well.

Favored Soul has really good dc potential allowing you to sacrifice some DC and still have a strong DC.

Something to consider is the +3 evocation DC in the top of the Dragonborn tree. You’ll be spending 12 AP in the racial tree for charisma/SP/spell pen. For 6 more points you can pick up 6 PRR and +3 evoc. There is also charisma in the Harper tree but no wisdom.

Overall the aasimar wisdom build is likely better overall endgame (more HP, heal amp and better mass frog DC) but the Dragonborn will have higher evoc DCs.
