Drizzled with Caramel, drizzled with Chocolate, drizzled with...

Couple of those look like my bowls of ice cream after hovering the bottle of Hershey's Syrup over it for a bit.

    No thanks.

I was expecting "dyes" that would change the color of the entire coat of fur, not just some decoration.

They should totally add a fire engine red scheme with flames like on one of those really ancient cars from the 1950s.

Hmm. I like the Delicate on the wolf and the Fierce on the Bear. I hope they add more colors eventually. I'd like Lavender, Violet or Periwinkle on the wolf and I guess I could go with the green on the bear but I'd prefer either a darker teal or a seafoam green. Blue should have been an option, I know they must have seen Braveheart and King Arthur (2004). Blue warpaint is a thing.

Since it's warpaint: can we get some Celtic blues?

The Picts (a subset of the Celts) painted themselves blue. The rest of the Celts did not.

Well, this is a bit disappointing. When guildies heard about cosmetics for the druid forms, we started speculating about maybe making the bear look like a panda or polar bear. Dalmatian spots for the wolf. You know, "fan service."

This just looks like the gnome and aasimar tattoos, which most of us already don't like.

You guys might want to start looking into what fan service is and why other games are able to make a killing off of cosmetics. Poodle skirts, tuxedos, and kimono cosmetic outfits. Fairy wings that cost $20 instead of 6 million reaper xp. Stuff people actually want.

This made me throw up a little in my mouth. If DDO does anything like this then all of us that play it because it is one of the few games not filled with BS anime garbage will disappear. The very last thing we need in a D&D setting is some big eyed kimono wearing pikachu clown holding a 12 foot long sword with so many spikes on it you could use it as a hat rack.

All they need to do is make wolf/bear fur match the colour of the character's hair and any tatoos the characater has from dragonmarks go on to the fur. i.e. the animal form mirrors the humanoid form - thats it.

    Default Warpaint

IMO I am not impressed with the warpaint and very much perturbed that it requires remnants. For me it might be worth it if it was in the DDO store. Even then it would be iffy as for me the warpaints are only for druids. I do understand what Cordovan was saying as to why they can't change the color of the dire bear or white wolf, his reason was it had to do with the lore of DnD. I personally like accumulating cosmetic pets. For me the warpaints are visually unimpressive. The colors on the bear are nearly hidden by the color of the fur and on the wolf they seem to be a little washed out. Plus there is only like 2 designs. As I have said before this is my opinion and you can disagree with it or not, but I am not trying to slam anyone with a different opinion

    +1

I was a little worried about this whole paint thing, really did not want to see a bunch of care bears running around looking goofy, but tribal warpaint works for me. I might never use it, but I don't mind it being a thing.

That is exactly what they should do. With ~5-6 new skins every 1-2 month.

    Thank you,

There are some of us who don't wanna have a game where characters look like glowsticks

honestly, I think the warpaints look sick

He's not the only one feeling that way, I like that this game stays true to DnD aesthetics

In Baldur's Gate, you can shapeshift into a Black bear.

    So much for DnD "limitations".

Brown bear, black bear and white (polar) bear are the basic types of bears.

I don't see why they can't add these fur color options for bear forms. And then maybe panda too (but that could be a Premium feature).

I'm against pink and other "unnatural" colors. But basic, natural ones, should be an option.

Maybe add a choice between brown and black bear for basic bear form, and an option between dire and polar bear for advanced bear form with polar bear getting access to some cold spells winter wolf has (and losing some dire bear spells for balance).

And then do the same for wolf. Make spotted wolf an option for basic form and then dire (black) wolf for advanced form.

Doesn't matter. I misread the price.

I thought they were 1,000 mysterious remnants each.

    They are 10,000 each.

We've scrapped together about 3,500 each so far, in 10 months - 12 here, 8 there. No way can I afford 10,000 for 1 cosmetic, especially as I can't even preview what it looks like on a non-winter wolf.

This is just sad. SSG, you're really fumbling the ball here.

I drop a ton of AS each week on this game, why can't you sell these cosmetics for DDO pts or AS? And at least update them with realistic colors. Disappointed.

Oh well, thanks everyone for your help. I'll just tell her they didn't look right.

i have like 80k without using, 100 of those +2 pots each (i can't use em, hoarding uses lol i have 18 mules xD) and all of those remnants tomes, i'm not even that active BUT i always play at least reaper 1, remnants drop a lot (fact) but i wouldn't ever spend em on cosmetics, i can't find it worthy (personal opinion there)
psykopeta is finally baconpletionist because there isn't anything to delay it more - thelanis, where the gimps claim to be pros and noobs claim to be pros, no newbies allowed(unless they claim to be pros), we have enough drama w/o them. PS: I post only in the latest thread shown in main page, in the weird case u want something from me, feel free to send pm
