A lot of things have changed that make this build work a lot better than it would have in the past. Particularly the 2 points of tomes that kick in now right at level 1
Stats:
Strength 13, Dex 14 Con 14 Int 20 Wis 8 Cha 8
Why Strength 13 (qualify for Power attack/Cleave at first level, also this will let you fill in your THF enhancements after level 7, when your tome bonus is 4, didn't used to be that way, used to be your tomes weren't +4 but +2 at level 7 which would've made the THF version of this build not so great).
Feats 1 Power attack, Cleave, 2 Weapon focus slash, 3 completionist, 4 great cleave 6 THF, Weapon specialization 8 Improved crit slash 9 Improved THF 10 Greater weapon focus (need this about level 10 for your tier 4 kensai stuff), 12 Greater THF, Greater Weapon spec slash
Your feats past level 12---level 14 Heavy armor champion, level 15 Heavy Armor master level 16 superior weapon focus slash level 18 Weapon focus bludgeon, Weapon spec bludgeon level 20 Greater weapon spec bludgeon
What's the philosophy, rack up respectable PRR/MRR and as much melee power as we can. We're not focused on tacticals but on lots and loads of AE damage.
Enhancements; As soon as have 8 enhancement points, get KTA. As soon as have 12, get Int to damage in harper. 12 points in harper afterwards is not negotiable.
41 Kensai eventually
20 something points of Stalwart defender (want speed, can take the +Hitpoints and +con greater stalwart stance stuff as don't need +strength really)
Racial points in gnome give more Int, Wand/Scroll mastery (which helps a lot in your self and other healing lack), and Color spray (which rocks hard for an INT build, haven't had any trouble sticking it thus far.
Uses two handed swords, falchions and ooze beater or undead beater mauls. At level 10 gets to use the SoS for a 30%/4x profile, 35%/4x at level 12.
