    Default DEX Item for Rogues

What do people generally use as their DEX item on a rogue? I've been using Ring of the Buccaneer, but its DEX value is very low now by today's DDO standards.

The ring slot still seems to be the best place for DEX on my character, so I've been thinking about DEX and insightful DEX on a ring. Possibly CHA on it to help bluff and UMD, or maybe spell resistance since it would stack with my Drow rogue's SR. I could slot an augment with Underwater Action, and would only lose the deflection AC bonus from the Ring of the Buccaneer. (I'm unsure of how important AC is to a rogue in today's DDO environment, since most of my playing days were way back seven years ago.)

Not a rogue but trapper Bard at cap, I have random ring with +12 DEX and +13 CHA +something.
I don't think AC is important for rogue, even though it is not completely useless as it once was. Dodge, PRR and MRR are important.

I don't know about SR, as it only affects non-damaging spells, and most of those can be blocked by other means. I had this random belt with SR and insightful SR once, and did not find it useful. (If anyone knows good use for SR please enlighten me.)
Also underwater action is usually not needed for rogue, as swimming in light armor is fast and breath meter runs slowly. For longer swims I keep either bubble belt, boots of the mire or random or crafted underwater action necklace in hotbar so that I can switch during swim.

Two of my characters are using the Braided Cutcord for their Dex needs (one heroic, one legendary).

The only time I found SR to be useful was running Crystal Cove with a first level character, using a Scarab of Protection that gives SR 20.

I have it on a ring for heroics, I think ML 11 or so; before that at 7 I use a Fens set item (venom, marsh and raven). For epics, I have an ML 20 one on the ring too, I think.

    I do not play endgame.

    Thanks for the input, everyone!

I don't own Ravenloft yet, which will likely be a birthday present for me near the end of the year. Crafting a ring might be my best bet at the moment, and having charisma on it might be the most useful to add to it. Investing in SR is sounding like it might have less value than the extra boost to charisma-based skills.

Now that Red Fens gear is BtA, I might have to farm some of that up before I TR.
