Default Recently Returned - Looking for Guild that Groups

I recently returned to DDO after an extended absence. I just got my first character to level 20. I'm in a guild but there isn't much grouping going on. Most of them seem to be several lives in and tend to solo stuff or just don't bother to talk to anyone else in guild. I would like to find a guild that has players who like to group and can help guide me to advancing beyond 20th level. I'm in my mid 40s and generally prefer more mature players as they tend to avoid drama. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried the Bathory Hordes? Good group of friendly players and many of them are pretty helpful. Wide variety of skill levels, but the #1 rule is to be nice and have fun.

In terms of grouping; it depends a lot on who's on at any given moment. A lot of our members have dropped into heroic TR's as their main prerogative, and heroic levels are extremely strict on what levels people have to be to be able to group with eachother. However, many members do seek to group with guildies and/or help them learn various parts of the game (quest knowledge, build/gear knowledge, play style tricks).
Selvera: Aasimar Fighter 20/Epic 10; Old and wise fighter.
Jen: Half Elf Fvs 4; Healer Archer on a TR with friends
Mayve: Drow Bard 14/Wizard 6/Epic 7; Vampire Enchantress

Thank you for your reply! No, I haven't tried Bathory Hordes. I was just asking to get a good sense of which guilds preferred to group rather than most of the members soloing the majority of the time. I should have stated that I'm in the EST time zone and my play times are usually 5pm to 10pm weekdays and open on weekends.

I would recommend taking a look at The Brotherhood of Redemption, The Wulfepack, The Swords of the Light or The Unrepentant, all of which are established guilds that are recruiting. Others are listed in the Sarlona Guilds forum. Once you start getting raid flagged I welcome you to join some of our public raid events. Our public raid schedule is in the Sarlona forum too
