Tome bug

I had a handful of tomes left over from the anniversary card event (and a couple others that were unbound that I saved up from chest pulls). They were +3 tomes, BTA, and sitting on a bank toon. I did a pass through bank toons to relieve some inventory excess and noticed that they are all now +1 tomes.

I have no idea when it happened, but I suspect maybe when the tome levels were readjusted the tomes themselves were bugged. It kinda sucks, since I was planning on using them on some newer alts.

Anyone else notice this? Maybe Coco or Lynnabel can take a look at them?

I have a bunch of saved tomes too. But, I rarely save a +1 tome especially if I already have a +2 or +3 of that same type. I usually would save the +1 but as I ran low on storage space I started getting rid of the +1s if I had a better one.

Well, after I read your post I went and looked.

I could not say for sure that anything has happened.

But it is kind of odd that I have two +1 tomes in a bank tab that is full of +2 and +3 tomes. One of the tomes is a +1 for charisma and I have two other +2 tomes of charisma and +2 to +3 upgrades for charisma. So this would have been the type of tome I would have turned into crafting ingredients.

The one really odd thing about the two +1 tomes is that they are both the smaller book icons. The others (the 2s and 3s) are the icon that takes most of the square, but the +1s are both the smaller books sitting on a puffy cloud. I don't really remember which is newer or older.

So, maybe I have a tome issue. But I'm not sure and I am definitely not sure enough to raise the issue. But maybe this can raise enough of an eyebrow on enough people to take a look at their banked tomes and see if any sort of pattern emerges.

See, that's what tipped me off to it - I had gone through and crunched all my +1 and +2 tomes for crafting probably a year ago, so I know I didn't have a bunch lying around. The ones that drop in chests are the ones you describe that fill the whole square, and it's possible I pulled a few and stashed them to crunch when I needed them. But the ones I got from the anniversary event were the newer looking ones you described with the smaller book, and I know for a fact they were all +3 because that's all that was available. I know exactly where they were and about how many, and they are all +1s now.
