Recent return, have a lot of old crafting mats

So, I convereted all my old style essence over to the new system, easy peasy, even if it took forever. But, I realize I have tons of stuff left over like Shards of potential, shards of masterful craftmanship, Enhancement spirits, and old shards. None of it seems mulchable to get new essence or anything back. Do I just chuck em or is there a way to mulch em I missed? Thanks

All the old shards and spirits can be safely junked.
There's no trade in for them, and they do nothing in the new system.

Junk. I keep them on a storage character as nostalgia items. She has one of those Gi-hu-normous Bags.

Some (but not all) of old shards can be deconstructed into essences.

But if it won't let you deconstruct it, it's junk.
