Default Give wiz enhancements some love

Please wizard needs some update on the enhancement trees, specially pale master.
The slas are so terrible, and the archmage slas are slightly better but terrible still.
Both Arcane Bolt and Arcane Blast have the lowest dc and heighten doesn't even seem to work with them seeing as every single mob makes its reflex save 90% of the time and it seems that most mobs in the game have evasion too so the spell rarely does damage. When it does damage the damage is more than fine, the ref save is what is bugged for me.
The pale master slas are just pure trash, 50% spell power and don't benefit from metamagics. They are not even useful for low leveling.

I did some testing of archmage arcane bolt with a friend in tavern brawl a few weeks back on a pure wizard (still in heroics). It does benefit from heighten and evocation dc boosts. Pretty sure it had the same dc as evocation spell of its level (lvl 2 for bolt, lvl 4 for blast) unheightened, and same dc as highest level evo spell with heighten on. As long as you're keeping your DCs and force spellpower/lore up, they should deal very good dmg for the sp cost, at least in heroics with maximize and heighten.

Pale master SLAs on the other hand, get no metamagics, and reduced spellpower benefit. Didn't test them, though I doubt they even benefit from necro dc boosts.

    It gets even better:

They heal enemy undead, but not friendly ones!

    Suggestion:
Remove the spellpower penalty and make them like chill touch (fear or some other effect for enemy undead, maybe even some attr damage for the living enemies).

I'd like to see them scale with 100% spellpower, use metamagics, and at the capstone put one negative level on the enemy they are cast on.

I haven't played a Wizard in years. The last time I did I used the SLAs it was horrible. I ended up turning that character into a Warlock for the Finger of Death SLA and the other necromancy/instakill spells.

Exactly, Warlock the newest class has the best slas in the game while wizard got ****ed.
Archmage slas are very good in damage that's not what I'm complaining, what I find is that more than half of the enemies have evasion and even if I have lvl 17 being able to cast lvl 9 spells and use heighten with both arcane bolt and arcane blast, I also have evo focus plus 3 on gear and most of the time I find an enemy with good reflex they make the save, like say human melee enemies normally have good reflex, some wolves, and many monsters in the game have good reflex. Against those monsters most of the time the spell or does half damage or none at all if they have evasion like human melee enemies normally have, and it's frustrating spending the sp again and again with no damage I began to think the spell or the dcs were bugged. There is no way to tell the exact dc of the spells since the description does not provide it. And how did you test in brawl with your friend? There is no way to know the number of the dc of an enemy spell, he could have failed the save just by rolling low numbers or 1s and believe me the chance of it happening many times in a row is real.
Now if you say you tested it at least 10 times and it always passed the ref save then I believe you.

I hit him with arcane bolt multiple times (removing all force spellpower/crit items first), and he told me if he saved or not, and what he rolled. Don't remember the exact numbers, but it could've been something like 8+23 save, 7+23 fail, therefore the dc is 31. Then I turned on heighten and tried again, and put on evo focus items and hit him some more.

Wizards haven't had a pass yet. they don't need much, just a few SLAs. They are already very powerful.
