Hi.

Posted a thread about pin in discussion forum, because
other classes then shiradi use pin, from what I understand.

Did not get a clear answer, so am trying here.

Pin is supposed to render stationary targets helpless , from what
the wiki states.

And helpless targets are not supposed to cast spells or attack, again from what wiki
states.

But when I use it on casters, they still cast away.

Can anyone explain ?

It used to prevent them from casting and attacking but it does appear that is no longer the case. Over the last few updates. They do still take more damage though.

Just remember, the devs hate ranged combat. You can answer most of your questions keeping that in mind.
