wisdom on monks

I have a level 30 monk that i run as an off character.

I only have a 60 wisdom - which seems really low to me. Maybe I am just jaded by my other 2 chars that have or can get pretty much what they want at will.

He is a first life char so 32 point build

i have made some changes during various er's (does it annoy anyone else when people say etr?) but not to the stats.

so i started with 16 wis as opposed to 18 so thats 2 more i can get on next goaround.

my gear - i do not have access to him right now as i am away from gaming machine

but for gear i think all i have is the neck from ravenloft for +19 wis. I have a cloak that is +11 wis +5 insightful but i got the avenger set going now.

so i guess i could cannith craft goggles - only real slot i have open.

and i could slot festive wisdome somewhere i have plenty of slots.

so that gives 9 wisdom over what i currently have

is that the quickest way to get it? i guess i could tr a bunch of times and get racial and heroic completionist but that is a lot of work.

trying to keep this guy a "first lifer" so i can say but im just a first life! to pugs

yes thats all theoretical as my monk is human first life and some of those choices are not a good build idea

I have around 76 WIS with roughly 60 DEX and 60 CON on my third life with a single +5 WIS tome. I can get DCs of 111 on Stunning fist and 114 on Jade Tomb.

I run aasimar with a starting WIS of 18.

To piggyback on what Kodwraith says, it also depends on the stance.

I run in Wind Stance for extra DPS. I am a 32 point build. I have 17 Epic past lives, but that does not help my Wisdom score. I have exactly 70 WIS with 70 DEX on my first life with a +7 WIS tome and +7 Dex Tome. My standing DCs are 100 on Stunning fist and 107 on Jade Tomb/Dire Charge. I also run Know the Angles (KTA) which pumps my Stunning fist up to roughly 108 and my Jade Tomb/Dire Charge up to 115. This is plenty for end game content. Before they changed Amber Temple, I regularly jaded Reapers on R10.

Also, keep in mind that stunning fist and dire charge do not work on undead/ghosts, so really only Tome of Jade does that, and its a single target. That is why I pumped more points into Dex, which helps to hit and damage, as well as reflex (for survivability.

I run halfling with a starting WIS of 17.
