    Default Hierling AI suggestion

How about a button that makes hirelings actually stay still?

Like come on, they are running into lava to die after being ordered to stay still. Only time they stay still is if they find an active trap in my experience.

This new and innovative idea of hirelings keeping their XYZ coordinates when a button is pushed could revolutionize the way we play the game. Hell disable all AI if you have to. Just make them stay still, until ordered to move again.

Maybe like have a trap that does no damage spawn at the location you want the hireling to stay still? Like blade trap, or fire/acid spray trap, not a bear trap, because it makes them slide all over the place after activation it.

Like I would pay money for this function.

Put them on passive then tell them to wait. That's the only way I have reliably been able to make a hireling actually wait where I tell them to.

I was running Spies In The House solo with a hireling. When I got to the first electrified floor area I dropped down, stood in a safe corner, summoned the hire, and told them to wait while I sneaked over to pull the mobs. The hire, whether I was in combat or not, insisted on taking a step forward so they were standing on the electrified floor instead of where I told them to stand. This happened whether they were in active or defensive mode. Only passive would make then actually stand in place. Essentially, turning off their AI with passive mode is the only way to make them do what they're told.

To any SSG employee reading this. Spies is not the only place, and traps were not always involved, that I have encountered this. Hirelings seem insistent on ignoring the order to wait. Note that the Onyx Panther is particularly bad about this.

Even that does not work in some cases. Not reliably anyway.

If they are on passive there are only 3 quests I have seen them move from their parked spot.

In Hiding in Plain Sight near the trap just past the shrine

used as lever pullers in PoP.

In Litany where you fight the named skeleton. Usually park them in the corner invisible as I try to get the discreet bonus.

Other than that, I have never seen them move from their parked spot willy nilly.

You are the one choosing not to play alts.

Casual player now investing way less than I used to into the game, playing 1-3 months at a time and still want nothing to do with Reaper. #improvepuggrouping#alldifficultiesmatter

I love when you tell them to raise or heal and they ignore it

Then you have to put passive and then aggressive and maybe, only maybe, they will heal or raise

Sometimes you even need to summon on your spot again, then set passive and aggressive (and wait the 6*secs til they do something)

Also the customize AI resets every time you tell them to stand ground/follow so it's pointless to say "i want the hire to not attacj/use wand of searing light when it's aggressive" cause you want them to be parked at some safe distance, not following you

So when you tell them to move the AI customization says bye

Their AI is something worthy to slap in the face of whoever thought it was ok yo release on live server
psykopeta is finally baconpletionist because there isn't anything to delay it more - thelanis, where the gimps claim to be pros and noobs claim to be pros, no newbies allowed(unless they claim to be pros), we have enough drama w/o them. PS: I post only in the latest thread shown in main page, in the weird case u want something from me, feel free to send pm
