I really like flavor builds and all (read: permagimp) but I feel like with all the Kensei specializations they left out a means to exclusively pursue thrown weapons.
Barring the advantages of the Halfling (And by extension Drow) Racial Trees, You don't really have options beyond Shuricannon (TTS) or Throwing Daggers (Vistani, Ranger, Bard).
Darts sometimes have interesting effects but are largely useless.
Throwing Axes occasionally have a niche but for the most part act as 'funny' weapons to use when messing around.
Throwing Hammers are utterly without worth outside of hitting levers.
> Even if you account for all these things, I feel like the thrown weapon animation has always felt unusually slow. Supposedly with things like Whirling Wrists, Quickdraw etc you can speed it up, but when throwing philtres/oils/weapons it always seems like your dps is a smidge lacking.
I've played several PnP Thrower Dwarves for the cartoony idea of a beefy midget kneecapping ogres from a distance with a ball-head hammer and with the Kensei tree's Tier 5 meshing so nicely with Deepwood Stalker it feel like DDO/SSG could make that path more feasible.
