Do reincarnation correctly, please advice.

Hey all,

I have a 15 Rogue, 2 Monk & 2 Fighter, I want to swap 3 Rogue levels and then add them to Monk. Do I use a +3 heart to change 3 Rogue levels to monk?

In other words, while I reincarnate I follow Rogue from lvl 1 at login then use +3 heart & alter rogue 3-5 into Monk 3-5.

Will end result be:

Rogue 12 (less three lvl which went into monk)
Monk 5 (added three from 3-5 Rogue)
Fighter 2 (unchanged)

Yup, that's how it works. You will have 3 levels that you can change around. If you went 1-6 as a rogue before, going 1-2 Rogue, 3-4-5 Monk, 6 Rogue will use up all 3 changes the heart permits, and all the other levels ups will go in the same order as they did originally.

You only get caught up if you are trying to replace one class with a new one and you already have a 3 class split. So, like if you had a R3/D3/P14 (not a good build lol)

It is tough to swap that.

Confirm +3 Heart will work in your example.

@ all: However, any time one makes a change like this, especially early in an existing high-level build, it's possible that unforeseen problems will arise with feats, skill points, re-working enhancements, or some forgotten prerequisite. Strongly recommend using a Character Planner to make sure changes will flow as planned (and/or to optimize them - don't have to take all 3 monk levels together, just sayin').

Be a shame to spend that +3 HoW and then find you still can't get where you wanted to go.
