i'm almost sure i've read somewhere (lol) that once they release u38 we would get a +3LR if our toon had at least one druid level so... in a subpar effort and after checking something to run as scourge aasimar with vistani (it's 1st of 3 live, if you could have any suggerence for the other 2 lives lol) i decided i will run

18/1/1 Ranger/Rogue/Monk
Lawful Neutral Scourge Aasimar

so i would start as

1 ranger, 2 druid, 3 ranger, 4 ranger, 5 ranger and after u38 release, reroll with the +3 LR as a 1 rogue, 2 ranger, 3 ranger, 4 ranger, 5 (or 6? lol) monk

how wrong i am? is hte +3LR fruit from imagination? XD

ofc i will happy to accept any swf or twf vistani suggestion you could have, i won't solo r10 so don't worry about that (but will prolly solo r2 til 30 for the next reaper xp project)

Cordo has confirmed that the +3 lesser heart will happen in a livestream (not the best source, but usually right).

Careful, if you roll an iconic you have to assign all 15 levels before you can use a lesser heart. That means if you're 1 ranger 2 druid that you're TRing away from with the lesser heart, you need 12 levels of one single class that you want to run.

So what is the point of having the druid level. Is it just so that you get the heart? If you use the heart that life are you really gaining anything. You could just go Ranger/Rogue/Monk and skip the heart.

The only real benefit is if you could have a life that used the druid, which would allow you to keep the heart for use on another life.

... you can't do it that way. Step 1) Swap in Rogue for Ranger @ 1 - and you are now a Rog/Druid/Ranger/Monk - fail.

You can either NOT add Monk until you use the +3 HoW (so you start as a Ranger/Druid, add Rogue, lose Druid, then Add 1 Monk), OR...

...Put the Druid class where you will put the Monk class, so you're starting as a Ranger(Druid). Then, w/ a +3... 1) Swap in Rog for Ranger @ 1, = 3 classes (Rog/Rgr/Druid), 2) swap in Monk 2 for Druid @ 5 (or 6, or whenever), = 3 classes Rog/Ranger/Monk - done, win.


I strongly recommend you use a Character Planner, figure it all out ahead of time to the last detail, where you want your Monk Level, how the Skill Points will flow, what Feat Monk will provide (and that you have any prereqs), make sure it all works!

You're getting Rogue skill points at Level 1, which is a massive boost to trapping skills (and UMD?), which are all cross-class after that. If the alt isn't riding on a +4 Int Tome, that can be key.

Actually from what he said above he never took Monk until after he used the heart so he would be ok because he would only be Rog/Druid/Ranger. He gets rid of the Druid level before he adds the monk level in.

In this particular instance, the only benefit is changing the OP's first level from ranger to rogue so they get +8 skill pts and unlock trap skills right away. But e.g. I plan to make a couple of Iconic alts which will use those HoWs:

• Bearbarian cleric: starts PDK ftr / druid / cleric, becomes druid / cleric / barb after LR +3
• Icebreaker: starts PDK ftr 1 / druid 1 / bard 13; swaps the ftr to rog and druid to FvS and lvl 15 to rog so it winds up bard 12 / rog 2 / FvS 1. Gonna try it w/Divine Presence for DC bonus.

I'm sure I've also got some single- or double-classed toons which (if time allows) I could splash druid and use the LR +3 to tweak their class split a bit.

yup, that's the only reason, so with non excessive int and thanks to the sooner tomes (man when was last time i had to check stat tomes for my toon?XD) trappping stuff should be covered

like someone said i won't take monk til past the druid removal so that point is covered and y, i know i will have to grab the 15 lvls 1st, it's the plan... it also was farming 2 assassin kiss, but did 1 full heroic run and 5 from pyramid to end (with whatever rare i found XD) even rerolling and... well, got 4 saphire sting, 1 elemental victory (*** is that ****? lol), 1 orb and 1 horseshoe **** shield U_U

guess ill go slice and dice instead
