I tested a level 17 pure arti in R2 no-hire Lords of Dust as a RM with ravenloft dwarven axe/heavy pick weapons/deadly belt and cannith crafted most of rest of gear vs. cannith crafted AT with anniversary party lightning stick and fatal flaw repeater.

AT came out 20% faster, even with killing the rare dog spawn, but RM was much tankier. Seems ok for heroics, for the weaker player to survive and contribute in, or someone looking for a tankier build.
