DANGER! guild chest gone

So, my level 4 dwarlock got back from questing with a full backpack and dropped by the guild shred chest to dump his trash. The chest turned into a mimic and ,being cr 27, killed him instantly. I brought in a bard to dispatch the mimic and reloaded the dwarlock.

The guild chest is gone, just a lump of glitter... with no contents.

(hold on, I'll try rebooting)

Nope, still gone.

I hope this is not WAI. It's really inconvenient, you know. I had crafting blanks stored there.

Ok, I logged off, ate lunch, logged back on with my craftbot (level 19), and the chest is back with all contents. Still getting the warning message, so I won't log in with low level toon until the event is over.

just checked and got this:

DM: 'you are too high level for this dungeon to get a mimic'

while opening guild chest in room, not hold.

now heading to hold... mimic, oops, news @ 11!

I also got a mimic from a 'key' chest, but was able to get the key from the remains. I assume the reason the guild chest remains has no content is because it killed my level 4 toon.

In any case, I want the guild chest back. That's 60 slots of storage and some very useful contents.
