UPDATE: The game worlds have reopened.

We will be restarting the DDO game worlds starting at 12:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT) on Monday, March 12th to improve the game environment. We will let you know when the worlds reopen.

Yes, this is simply to improve the health of the game environment, largely driven by reports of lag and other issues over the past 24 hours.

TY Cordo! The lag has been a mess the last couple days. Yesterday we strugled and failed a couple raids because of getting frozen (Baba's bees mixed with lag ain't great), not to speak of the gãme crashes and the infinite loading screens. Thanks for the quick response

Thanks for the restart, we were noticing a good amount of lag during the anniversary event on Orien. There was lots of activity in House P and the event seemed quite popular.

I noticed there was an entry point to the anniversary in the Hall of Heroes which not many players were using. Would using this have helped kind of spread out the activity? I can't say for myself, I did not in fact use it nor was I sure if a recall from the anniversary dungeon would return you to the Hall of Heroes. Anyway, cheers!

*edit* Ah yes, the sale of Ravenloft on the DDO Store probably added to things, some guildies were talking about how to go about purchasing it with DDO points.

I think most of the lag issues for the last few days are a result of so many people running the anniversary party to get the extra favors during the collectible weekend. So with the party gone and the restart today, there should be a considerable decrease in the lag issues we have all been experiencing this weekend

We ran it hard yesterday on Sarlona and it was very laggy. However it was nice to see so many peeps on yesterday. It was like a crowded day at the beach and I got my tan from the monitor

Well dang, I didn't realize the dungeon ended on the 11th, for some reason I thought it ran through the whole 12th anniversary until the 1st of April. Pair that with the fact that even the vendor packed up shop and left and I'm sitting on a decent number of tokens that I hadn't had a chance to spend yet...

the last time (or maybe the one before) the night revels was on, I got called in to work early and was left with 100's of decaying bits. so last night I decided to forgo my aims and just cash in what I had. this morning I was woken by a call to work early and was actually happy

At least they don't expire, so assuming you weren't going to spend exactly the amount you had/throw out the remainder then your inventory is unaffected, other than not having X until next year
