Being able to get through the crystal's DR, avoiding shadow lag during totem phase, surviving wisps and mounds are some of the main challenges that occur in this raid on mid-reaper.
For instance, it's much quicker to go in and brute force the totems while having someone kite the shadows, but it's much safer to just play around Mass Frog and wait for it to be off timer. Wisps can cause a lot of mess quickly. You really have to target them urgently (like in most difficulties), however, on R5 they definitely become a job for spell absorption otherwise they go around one-shotting your DPS. At the start of boss fights 2 & 3 we have an undead caster pick up aggro of the Red Scarecrows, which automatically aggro onto whoever has Baba's aggro. As Undeads aren't affected by horrid wilting they're ideal for this - in boss fight 3 - when we need to kill Scarecrows, we peel them off the caster and beat them down one-by-one.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the prettiest of runs. We had a few problems during the stages leading up to final fight, but luckily we had the experience of our previous runs to fall back on. We basically upped the skull by one each time we ran it, starting with R3:-

Due to the damage the mounds dish out, this is probably our limit for now. We'll have to revisit it once the arti changes are live. Even though our overall DPS will be nerfed come next update - surprisingly DPS isn't the be-all and end-all in Baba.
Thanks to everyone's efforts who got involved, and again, special thanks to Torvis for being the PUG.
