    Default Soul Stone Cosmetics

Purchase them, and then you can select which on you want in the options.

    A flame
    A frog
    A bird
A pile of wood or metal (for warforged)
    A frowney face
    A caution sign
    A stop sign

    Whatever. Could be fun.

I don't know how profitable this would be. I love cosmetics but... I hate to die. I came to this game from PnP, I'm attached to my characters and anytime one dies its jarring. I play careful and smart with as much CC as possible. I do not play this game from the Super Mario perspective of unlimited lives and character death is a temporary inconvenience. As such this is a cosmetic that I would rarely (hopefully rarely) see.

Why purchase something you would so rarely benefit from visually?

On the other hand, I can't see those that play like its Fantasy Super Mario getting much use from this either because they tend to spend more on power (tomes) and to bypass inconvenience (raid timers/cakes) and to speed up whatever they're grinding (astral shards/XP elixers/Ottos boxes).

However, perhaps if it were a tad more than fluff, if it perhaps had a strategical use it might be worthwhile. Like perhaps in a guild, assuming others could see your cool soulstone graphic, then if the cleric fell and everyone knew the cleric's stone was red for instance then someone still up could grab the red stone and drag it closer to the shrine or take it somewhere safer to rez, etc.

1 death a quest never bothered me. i have special magics to get me back up. but after my 1 time out time to slow me down, i play very reasonable. Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde type of play style.

@Aelonwy Dunno. From my perspective of running reapers, death is not an uncommon occurrence. But it's obviously a YMMV situation.
