My (Poor?) Build

A while ago I made a 15Pally/5Ranger Tempest in heavy armor using Khopesh build. Initially, it seemed okay. He made it to epic levels and then other builds caught my attention.

This past weekend, I decided to get him further leveled up and got him to 28 (the Decent Gear Level - sans Raveloft).

He felt terrible overall. Slow. Not much damage (this part was pretty surprising).

If I compare it to my best toon (a Barb hybrid), the attack speed is quite slow. If I also compare it to my new FvS Vistani, the speed is also quite slow. I would hope it would make up for that in damage, but I think it lags behind both of them. This made me quite sad.

Any thoughts here? Is there a new (and better) Khopesh build to try?

You need Haste, Speed item or Blinding Speed feat and couple that with Haste Boost. That takes your attack speed to +45%, add in doublestrike+offhand strike. I expect you're using Dance of Death and Thousand Cuts from Tempest? The numbers should be rolling over your screen, when I did this split it was one of the better I've tried.

Could you elaborate on how it feels slow?
