Cannith Crafting has helped in regards to normal vs. elite players. I am not in a large guild but a tiny one. As a result, I do not have any raid gear. Which means my gear is sore lackly in comparison to the die hard players. Or my skill level has improved and equipment is improviing due to Cannith crafting.


Recently, I joined a pug group of elite players and found I am still below their skill level. What a surprise because I am a normal player. These folks had the equipment for their characters to run in any situation. Second, they knew the boards like the back of their hands. Third, the guild buffs really help and I can correct that if I so choose. The raid gear will probably never happen due to lack of time!

Third point, have a way to remove level shards and put different level shards in Cannith crafted weapons. For instance, a player has level 10 spell resistance and insightful spell resistance cloak. The Drow character has pulled the level 10 shard and replaced the shard with a level 15 shard. This helps the normal and casual players compete with the uber players. This helps Turbine with people actively crafting and buying collectibles and cannith essences. Translation More money for the company coffers.
